Does it fit?Absolutely! I wear a 2x/3x in some stores even a 4x. I ordered an XL jumping on the faith train that everyone was right and it’s very giving. All reviews are right! It’s huge but in a good way! I had plenty of room in the arm area and I have HUGE arms (not muscle but fat you’ll see in the pictures) the cuffed part didn’t feel tight at all when I bent my elbow. Don’t let that XL scare you! It’s VERY giving!Does it cover my butt?Yes! I’m 5”3 and it covered my butt and it hit my *ahem* stomach area just fine! I really feel like the way it curves down instead of going straight down really helps!What is the sheer/see through ratio?Well.... it is see through! In my regular lit (very dirty sorry!) room it didn’t look see through. Pull back a curtain and let the natural light flow you can see how see through it is. Think mesh! It’s like one step above mesh BUT it’s the material, you can’t complain with that material.Smell?Definitely had a Smokey smell!!!! It made me nauseated!! I washed it with cold water and lots of smell good stuff by hand in a sink. The color of the water ugh. It could very well been the dye but with the smell it made me wonder if it was tar and nicotine.Cons?The way it is shaped at the bottom it has weird this shaped part. Think coned bra madonna! It’s where the fabric has been cut and made to give it the overall “curved” look at the bottom of my hips. I like the look of everything but at certain angles it does look odd. However, I can get over it because the overall love of the look outweighs that one weird hip shape that only happens maybe once or twice? Also, because of the material of the fabric it is definitely static prone. BAD. Have lots of hair spray, static control, at hand when wearing this.Why the four stars?The smell. I know I can wash it (which as I stated I did) and I know in some factories there can be a smell but it literally smelled like it came from a house full of smokers.Overall thoughts?I love it. I think it is definitely on a fine line between grandma and modern. With the right top though and accessories it can be so cute! I’m in love with it and I know it will definitely come in handy during the summer. Either during a “personal summer” (hot flash people, hot flash) or during a real ol’ crappy heat wave. Definitely sheer and comfortable enough!

Love love love. It's slightly bigger and brighter than I expected, but looking at the pictures now, it's pretty true to the listing. I usually wear a 16, I got an XL, and I'm very happy with it. I love it over a sundress, jeans, and a swimsuit. I'll probably buy more colors.

Hi I love this print and fit! However I'm normally a large/XL and I ordered a Medium because of the other reviews. It fits very well. I'm 5'7" and weigh 195. Pic to get an idea.

If you don't like showing your arms in the summer but want to wear pretty summer sleeveless dresses and tank tops, stay cool, and look put together at the same time you NEED this.I am a solid 3x 22/24 in standard American tops 5'6 and the XL fits me perfectly. I have lots of kimonos with beautiful prints that pair well with solid tanks underneath but it is really hard to find solid color kimonos to wear with a summer dress that already has a print. This top is perfect for that. It is a sheer chiffon material that is very cool and breezy but just opaque enough to camouflage my upper arms which is not my best feature. It drapes beautifully and kind of Cascades down your figure without being too long or oversized looking. I have worn it with a maxi dress, a knee length dress, & jeans and a tank and it worked beautifully in every situation.I have the black, white, yellow, and purple. They are all true to the color and fit well.I will say that I liked it so much that I bought several of the black ones as back up and one of them was made of a slightly scratchier fabric than all the rest so if you get a scratchy one just exchange it.Also I really hope they add a solid Navy blue one to the collection.

I'm typically a Large but i bought this in medium and it's still slightly big but I love it. It fits exactly how I wanted it to. The blue is less royal than I expected but still pretty. I wore with jean shorts and intend on using it as a swimsuit cover

I love it! I'm 5'11 so you know that's pretty tall and it's still hangs in the back. I loves the way it feels. I wore it with jean shorts, nice combination.

Great kimono. Had a few loose strings, but I can't complain much, because I can easily trim them. Plus it's super affordable and looks great on. Fits just how I wanted it to.

Gave one star because there wasn’t a zero star option. Also, I guess because the pattern/colors are pretty.However..... this is, hands down, the ugliest looking kimono on. Oh my good grief, I don’t know how it got such good reviews.I’m 5’6 and 175lbs. I wear either large or xlarge. I ordered a XL because I wanted a looser fitting kimono for the dresses I planned on wearing with it. If it wasn’t for how ugly the shape of this kimono was, I’d exchange for a medium. But no size difference will fix that problem. I included several pictures trying to show how huge and horribly shaped this kimono is.I think this kimono would most likely only look great on very slender women. On curvy, heavier women, it looks like a huge flowery potato sack.As far as quality, it’s exactly as expected, a sheer nylon. Washing instructions say to hand wash. The cuffs on the arms are very firm which is nice, structurally, because you wouldn’t want it to unravel after the first or second wash. Definitely a kimono you could wear with leggings because it drops down much further in the back than the front. The color and flowery pattern is it’s biggest perk. It’s beautiful! And could easily be worn in spring, summer and fall!
