I have used Sorbothane heel pads almost 40 years. They marketed them in 1982. I have been a runner for well over 40 years, 73 years old now. I still run 4 miles 3 times a week. I have run marathons, 10Ks, 6Ks, and continue to run 3Ks. I have had now knee, heel, or any running injuries while several of my friends some older some younger cannot run due to knee and other injuries. I urge anyone reading this to start using this product. Running injuries accumulate over time. The product markets its heel pads as cushioning over 94% of a heal strike. It is true.

i discovered Sorbothane shoe inserts 30 years ago, and it works great in heels too.

I suddenly started having pain in the area of my Plantar Fasciitis –like in the heel of my foot – when I worked on my feet all day. Seeking relief, I bought four different heel-cushioning products from Amazon: MyFootSupply Gel Heel Pad Medium, Spenco Rx Heel Cushion, Half Elevator Insole for Men - 1/2 inches (A pack of 2 Pairs), and this product, Sorbothane Heel Pad.This product, the Sorbothane Heel Pad stays in place nicely, and gives me a tiny bit more height, but doesn’t do anything to prevent my foot pain. If you have blue or purple shoe soles, this item blends in … otherwise it doesn’t. Three stars.Out of the four products I bought, the Half Elevator Insole was the best. Not only does this product cushion your heel and make you a little taller, but also you get TWO pairs for a very reasonable price! In addition, this insert is virtually invisible in most shoes, is comfortable, and stays in place nicely. I bought two more pairs of these. Five stars!The Spenco Rx Heel Cushion does shift around a little, but it does help my plantar foot pain. It adds a little height to you as well. Four stars.The MyFootSupply Gel Heel Pad was the most disappointing insert I purchased. Initially, it feels great and you might think that these inserts will help. After working on my feet all day, my Plantar hurt like heck with these inserts. I think that these gel heel pads concentrate your weight-per-square-inch to the heel of your feet. In addition, they slide around too much, requiring repositioning. Two stars.

I have used Sorbothane inserts for years. Wouldn't have a pair of walking shoes without them.

I have been using these Sorbothane pads for more than 20yrs. My shoe size is 7.5. The medium fits perfectly under the existing insole of my running shoes. I first used them when I had a heel spur. In a short time the soreness went away and hasn't returned. I have used them in my everyday shoes as well. I love them. They are reasonably priced and work well especially on heel spurs or any soreness in the heel.

This heel pad is great for heel pain, like plantar fasciitis. My previous purchase of this pad lasts and lasts and still being used from like 3-4 yrs ago. Ordered a new one and I absolutely love these pads! Really works for me!

I ordered these because I needed a little more “height” under the heel of my orthotics in certain shoes. Not only were they perfect for that function but I was amazed at what a difference they made with the feel of the shoe. They are thin but I was impressed with the shock absorption they offer.

The best thing about them is that they do not move around in your shoe. Very comfortable to wear. Hope that they last!
