Does what it says on the bottle
Perfect product for restoration and protecting my wooden garden bench. Easy to use, just the right consistency to apply with a spong brush, just make sure you wash out any cloths, sponges etc used, low odour. value for money,

At the beginning it's good, but too dark
The media could not be loaded. The oil has moisture protection, makes the wood moisturized and smooth.BUT Color: Keep in mind that some parts of the wood may unpredictably become darker than its identical neighbors due to this oil. In the photo you can see a chair with 3 layers of oil. Some boards are darker than others, although this was not the case before.I expected a warm reddish color like in a glass. But in the end it turns out like smoked, slightly greenish. Even with a perfectly clean preparation with polishing.Smell: the oil has a strong, unpleasant smell.Greasiness: do not forget to remove excess 10 minutes after painting.Volume: for a small table and 2 chairs, 3 layers on all sides, I needed about 250-300 ml. A whole bottle is too much. The price is too high.

Great product, difficult to open
I used the teak oil on some ten- year-old garden furniture and it gave great results, making them look much newer but keeping some character. As you would expect the items I kept in a shed over the winter have lasted better than those left out all year. The product deserves five-star but I have marked it down a bit as the bottle top (squeeze and turn anti-clockwise) was so difficult to open that I had to put a fairly hefty pair of pliers to it. I have not had the same problem with similar tops before. (I do realise the oil would be dangerous to a child if they drank it.)Also the tall thin bottle does look very elegant, but must add to the chance of knocking it over and I guess this product would not enhance a beautiful driveway or decking. But perhaps this is a quibble. Pretty good overall.
