Q: Are these made in America? If not, where?

Nora's Nursery cloth diapers are designed in the US and responsibly manufactured in China. Our priority was a partner who had ethical manufacturing processes (labor, working hours, health and safety) and could produce diapers that are safe, premium quality and cost- effective. We are proud to have selected a manufacturer in China who exceeded our expectations. Even though we produce our diapers abroad we ensure we meet the same guidelines as American made brands set out by the Consumer Product Safety Commission and meet testing requirements in CPSIA accredited labs.

Q: Are these pocket diapers or diaper covers?

Q: Would these work if I want to reuse the shell after a diaper change if the shells not wet? Like just change out insert

Yes, you can. These are pocket diapers so the insert goes inside the diaper, but occasionally I'll put the bamboo insert on top, instead. My daughter isn't a heavy wetter so I'm able to switch out the bamboo insert with another insert and just keep the diaper (as a shell) if it isn't wet.

Q: Can I use Purex laundry detergent with these?

I have tried multiple detergent and the only one that seems to get my diapers the cleanest is tide original powder. It truly depends on your water and washing machine though.
