wonderful smell and taste, great for baking even good in coffee

Great flavor and really adds to your recipes. Little spendy as i was using it for restaurant purposes, but it does have good flavor. I'll unfortunately have to search for a cheaper alternative for the quantity we use it for though, If doing occasional cooking- this is great stuff!

contains alcohol, maybe. Don't buy it. It tastes absolutely awful. It's bitter, burns the tongue. Pure alcohol is practically tasteless. God only know what the ingredients are. The taste suggest benzene, which is carcinogenic and hepatotoxic.

This extract make banana dishes so much better..this is my second order of this product ..I believe it is well worth the cost..

I tried it straight, sipping it from a teaspoon, and it tastes like alcohol with only a slight hint of banana. I tried adding a little to a mashed up banana hoping to increase the banana flavor, but this only added some alcohol flavor. Then I added more to this same experiment and only ended up with a strong alcohol flavor which overpowered the natural flavor of my real banana. The only thing I can conclude is that this product may work with baked goods, where presumably the alcohol will evaporate during cooking, leaving some banana flavor in your baked goods. But I don't bake so it appears I have wasted my money. Actually, I think I bought the 32 oz. size, but its the same ingredients in all sizes, I checked. So I recommend you try their 4 oz. size first to see if it works for your purposes.
