BookFactory Lab Notebook - 96 Pages (.25" Grid Format), 8 7/8" x 11 1/4", Burgundy Cover, Section Sewn Hardbound Laboratory Notebook (LIRPE-096-LGR-A-LMT1)

Is exactly as described, the photos are accurate, ink does not bleed from page to page, the pages are thick and this is a very high quality book. The binding is nice, the cover is really nice, it's overall really great and it's really nice to use. I will be buying from this company again, especially considering it's veteran owned and these books are made in the USA. I also really like the color, I got red. It's really nice. The only complaint I have is that the ones with more than 96 pages are really expensive, and to get double the pages it is double the price. I might as well just buy an entirely new book rather than pay double for the 168 page version, which feels ridiculous because the binding and cover obviously cost money. 96 was BARELY enough to get through one semester of my lab course, and I had to put three IR/NMR graphs per page at the end there just to not run out of space.

Quality is fine, but very disappointed to find the actual page layout is different than what’s shown in Amazon’s photos. The notebook delivered doesn’t have fields for Title, Project # or Book #, despite being shown in the listing’s photos and being pretty essential to a Lab book.

I'm a physics grad student and I love this lab notebook. It's hardcover, yet the book will actually stay open FLAT without a bookweight, unlike other notebooks I've tried. In addition, the pages are gridded, rather than ruled: another plus for me. The first four pages are designated as a table of contents, which helps with organization. The printing of the pages, including the page numbers, is strong and bold. The book itself seems high quality, with strong binding and perfect paper weight (not too thin, not unnecessarily thick).The only potential negative I can see is that the book only has 92 pages for lab notes, rather than a couple hundred like some other lab notebooks. However, it's not enough of a nuisance for me to take away any Amazon stars. In fact, I'm planning on purchasing a few more of these notebooks just to make sure I always have a new one on hand when it's needed.

BEST NOTEBOOK I HAVE EVER HAD! IT LOOKS STURDY, FIRST THREE PAGES ARE CONTENT PAGES AND REST OF IT GRAPH PAPER SO YOU CAN WRITE YOUR DATA, DRAW GRAPHICS ETC. I PURCHASED BURGUNDY COLOR, I HAVE NO REGRET AT ALL. :) I LOVED IT. IT LOOKS BETTER THAN THE PICTURE!CONS: ITS 96 PAGES SO IT'S SO THIN, I DEFINITELY NEED MORE OF THIS! GOOD NEWS IS THAT THERE ARE OPTIONS, SO YOU CAN SELECT MORE PAGES.

I'm a biology Ph.D. student and I've bought two of these notebooks so far (blue and burgandy). I don't like notebooks with carbon copy sheets - I always seem to accidentally write through the pages and end up making a mess. These days, it's easier to just scan the sheets digitally, in my opinion. I like that the notebook is sturdy, water resistant (the cover) and not bulky. The tradeoff is the limited number of pages, but for some (i.e. students who will only need a notebook for a semester or two) this might actually be a good thing.

I work in an undergraduate laboratory on my university and this book is definitely better than what my peers use. Even my professor has complimented me on my note-taking and tracking of various experiments. This is a great notebook for those looking to design patents and ideas as well, but definitely a great purchase for anyone looking to have a great quality lab notebook!

The title should include "Not a carbon copy notebook." The book felt really nice and pages we great. But, $20 is a bit overpriced. $15 is the max anyone should pay for this. But, if you have money to spend, then why not.

Very good quality lab notebook and perfect for my biotech lab class. I would order this again if I ever need another one.
