Mererke_Pretty Lavender Essential Oil 4 oz. 118 ML

I have purchased about 20 different oils, over the past 4 months. I have made sure to purchase from different companies to check the quality of the oils. It has cost me over $350 in oil purchases alone. Some of the oils were blends, others pure. Essentially KateS was a few pennies more but it was worth the difference. There is a strong sent of Lavender. I use in with Aroma therapy, scenting candles, and mixing it with other oils and carrier oils for other uses. One nice thing about Essentially KateS oil is that they have a downloadable pamphlet about the oil and how to use it and how to mix it. For the money this was a huge bonus on the oil. If you are new to using oils, it would be worth your money and time to purchase one of Essentially KateS oils for the downloadable pamphlet. There is junk in the pamphlet but for the most part there is really great information. Lavender oil is great for fungus fighting. Who would have known? I dropped a long green oxygen bottle on my big toe, when changing my mothers oxygen about 7 years ago. I think I broke the toe. My doctor`s looked at the toe, I lost the nail and as it grew back it was very deformed. Not one doctor did any thing. Had a back operation and a home health nurse (these nurses are blessing from GOD, and they can be a weird blessing) told me the problem was a fungal infection!! She said to use a blend of stuff, which I did try and it worked very little as I did not follow through, MY fault!!! Well, I started using Essentially KateS Lavender oil and used a few drops on the toe. Two effects, nice smelling feet, could be good enough to eat. Second was that the nasty toe nail problem is growing away. It has been about a month and I used the oil about three times. I should use it more but I can see results. My toe nail is growing back, to the way GOD first created it, before oxygen bottle mishap. Great Stuff

I absolutely love this oil, the smell is instantly relaxing and calming, not alcohol in smell like some brands posing as “pure oil”!! I've tried over 8 different top $$$ brands searching for the best lavender oil for my needs and preferences. I wanted to give an updated review so I can say without a doubt, after trying new other types etc, Essentially KareS is the oil I turn to when I need to relax, ease anxiety, antiseptic...yes a dot diluted will clear up acne, dark spots and is an excellent moisturizer mixed with your own or a carrier oil, and is amazing for all natural home remedies. I have gifted it to family members with health issues, hyper pets too....mist with water into the air or in your home...doggie calming remedy! My family was surprised to learn about the natural benefits and many ways it’s used from lavender oil alone! I have family, like myself who suffer from anxiety and stress, well who doesn’t have stress! I diffuse it in an aromatherapy diffuser and have never had any issues with this oil, yes oils will ruin your diffuser if it’s not pure, i can simply take the dropper it comes with and drop tiny amounts around the house (pet safe) and a little goes a long way, great for adding to baths, stationary too! I mean this stuff does so much more than expected, please consider trying it and the owner and staff are absolutely amazing! Excited to try to Frankincense and Bergamot!! Side note** most oils are not 4oz (120ml) ! In fact you would pay the same for another brand in a 15ml bottle and would be using the same amount of oil...

Not as great as I thought it would be. Has almost a synthetic or chemically element to the fragrance. Definitely not as floral as other lavenders I've tried. Was a great price for the amount but since all I wanted was a great fragrance to diffuse I feel like it's almost a waste because the smell isn't what I was expecting. I won't order this brand again.

The lavender oil itself is great but the user guide was a little useless. Kind of wished I had glanced through it first before assuming it'd be helpful. I wasted a lot of paper printing that out only to put it in recycling. I guess I was expecting more lavender recipes (cleaning and body products) than notes on lavender studies. Honestly though I knew what I was planning to use lavender for before buying it so it's really not the guide that makes or breaks this item for me.

But it smells indescribably bad. I've had the product more than 30 days so I can't return it. I'm just going to have to throw it out. I'm surprised, because I have Kates Peppermint Oil and that is wonderful..but the Lavender essential oil is probably the worst thing I've smelled in my life.EDIT:So, I still do not like the smell of this oil (maybe, I just don't like the smell of lavender oil??) but I have found that this oil / the smell of this oil really helps me to sleep at night. For that reason, I have to give it more stars.EDIT2: This is a high quality oil, it's very potent. I think i wasn't using it right before. When I put it in my new diffuser, the smell is very pleasant and extremely helpful in getting me to sleep.

I'm addicted to lavender oil, and have bought lavender oil from many sources, all over the world. I use it on "everything", as an additive to natural cleaning products, room freshener, homemade cosmetics, potpourri, home made essential oil blends and much more. This was my first purchase of Essentially KateS lavender oil, and I was quite curious. Am pleasantly surprised and VERY HAPPY with this product. Some lavender oils have a slightly harsh or astringent odor, which is ok for household use, but not my favorite. This is the first I have found that is reasonably priced and sold in a higher volume that has a rich, nuanced fragrance. Not sure what the secret is, but I frankly love it, and am now switching to this brand. Also love the vintage looking packaging and the dropper option, as well as the price.
