Bought this initially for my friend as a birthday gift. I then decided to buy another one for myself. I was intrigued by the gas sprung arms that allows you to easily adjust the monitor height as opposed to the traditional ones with a pole whereby it requires a bit more effort to adjust the height.These are easy to install. However, it isn't easy to decide where the clamp should be based on your desired monitor position. With the traditional pole clamps, you know that the pole position is always going to be in the middle of two monitors. But with these gas sprung arms, it does require a bit of playing around to get the right setup. You can see from my pictured setup requires me to place the clamp all the way to the left end of my desk. As with most reviews here, I've had to move my desk a bit away from the wall, otherwise the monitors would be too close to my face. Despite the fiddly setup, once you get it right, it is rewarding.The quality is amazing. The double C clamp instead of single makes all the difference in sturdiness.

If you buy this item and are trying to mount VESA 100 monitors you will need to buy different screws.I received M4x12mm screws when VESA 100 requires M4x10mmOverall the item is good but just lacks the correct screws.

I first installed this in a bedroom on a small 19.5 inch by 16 inch bedside table. The table didnt topple over.I can lay on the bed, pull one of the monitors close to me, lower it down to the right height, twist and turn it. Tilt the monitor up or down.I can also sit up, push it back, raise it higher and so forth.I have relocated it to a different room, onto a regular sized table. It's perfect. It takes using external monitors to another level.I needed customer support when i relocated the product and I was supplied with speedy and useful information.Will buy and again and I definitely would recommend.

So I tried a couple of others and sent back before coming to this one.... first one went back as it was expensive but the quality of finish wasn't there... second one went back because the arms wouldn't go low enough to attach a laptop tray (so laptop was too high... despite it being the actual tray that was supposed to go with it!)THEN I went with this one!!!Very sturdy.... Very well made with a great, high quality paint finishEasy to assemble and the arms are not so big that they go massive backwards (works perfectly for me as I have a window ledge and not a wall behind my desk).More importantly I've been able to add a monitor tray to one of the arms so I can use as a laptop plus monitor combo... the results are perfect!!Really easy to adjust the tension to get everything where I need it - looks amazing - my desk is much clearer now!DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!! It's the best out of the three I tried - quality is well up there (particularly for the money) - easy to assemble and does everything I need it to
