What is the stepper motor specifications? Unipolar, bipolar, 12 24v, steps per revolution, torque, connector wiring.
Can you use a ac adapter to run this? It's for a aquarium project. Or do i need a controller?
What is the flow rate if running full bore?
What is the current rating of this stepper motor? I'm using a DR8825 stepper driver but it's getting really hot at 24vdc.

Lack of specification on... All of this equipment.

With a sheer lack of specs I would look elsewhere unless you like to guess or read what other people guess the specs are.Is it made for specific hoses? What the literal heck are the hose specs supposed to be?Is the motor a Nema 17? What are the specs on that? This company's lack of information should make this a hard pass for any serious consumer.

Read this review before deciding to scrap it

Hopefully this helps more than the other reviews which have sent me on some pointless/endless chase. When it arrived, I ran into same issues as others where the pump would be stuck/not spin and immediately went looking for replacement tubes based on other reviews. Was all a waste of time/money on finding the appropriate tubing. The supplied tube is the appropriate size, all one has to do is to pull the two ends of the short tube to stretch out the inner piece. Miraculously starts spinning.I've tried the following tubes without any success to hold pressure/self-prime.Type - Outer D - Inner DSupplied Silicone Tube - 10mm - 6mm as referenceSilicone - 10mm - 8mmSilicone - 9mm - 6mmNatural Rubber - 9mm - 6mmOnly other test which would have been interesting would be to see how well a natural rubber tube of similar dimensions would work, but I found this solution before I jumped to the next tube to try.I'm not sure how often I'll have to re-stretch the two ends but this was a long one to figure out.

Be ready to replace the tubing

The product is high quality, the pump and the stepping motor are very good. However, as other reviewers have found out, the pump will immediately stall as a result of the thickness/stiffness of the tubing that is shipped with the pump. It looks like 3/8" OD with thick walls. The pump rollers simply cannot squeeze the tube enough to roll over the tube, and so the motor stalls. I replaced with tubing with 9 mm OD tubing with 1.5 mm wall thickness, and the pump works beautifully. I have run it up to over 10,000 steps per second and it pumps nicely. Somewhere after that, if you increase the stepping rate (and hence the rpm), the pump will stall. I found I was able to pump 8 ounces in 20 seconds at 10,000 steps/second. Hope this helps.

Stock tubing

The media could not be loaded. So this was my first stepper motor project and I'm a little embarrassed to say, it took me far too long to figure out why I couldn't get it working. In the end, it turns out that the manufacturer shipped the motor with tubing that the motor couldn't handle. It wasn't me, it wasn't my driver board, it wasn't my wiring nor my code... it was the stock tubing.

The NEMA 17 stepper did not turn.

I have been using different NEMA 17 steppers on my 3D printer even when I took the pump head off. It would only go back and forth.
