As a therapist, I recommend!
As a physical therapist, I needed ankle and wrist weights that were soft enough for skin integrity for the geriatric population, durable enough for college athletes, and adjustable to fit different body types/sizes. After buying my initial 1lb set and being pleased with the soft material and how they adjust to fit anyone, I bought 2 more sets in the 2 and 3 lb weight options.

The weight itself is very long. I can just get it tight where it wont slide around before it overlaps on itself. I'm a 6 foot male so if you're smaller it may not tighten sufficiently. The velcro slap is also very long which is more of a nuisance than a problem. Otherwise it is comfortable and good quality.

These are fine for burning more calories on the treadmill or out walking. The 5-lb. weights are bulky, since it's sand or something similar in each pouch. A solid piece of metal in each pocket would take less room.Ankle weights are great for building up leg strength, and you feel like you're a stronger walker during everyday activities. This set is OK, but could be better. They flop around when you try to get the very long and narrow velcro strip attached. A shorter and wider velcro strip would be an improvement.
