These "blates" (bowl-plates), as we call them, are the perfect dish! They are a game changer! Perfect for salad, pasta, etc. If you don't have much cabinet space or are on a budget, you can get by with a set of these easily. If you like a multi functional item or are a minimalist, these blates have you covered! They are super lightweight but sturdy. They are pretty and hold up well, clean easily, stack neatly and take up less space. These blates are my favorite kitchen purchase probably ever. Why did you pick this product vs others?:This turned out to be the most useful dish in my cabinet. Can be used for salads, desserts, dinners. As a senior alone I have developed a habit of eating meals sitting in my recliner. No more dripping food off my plate. the size of these dishes is perfect for anything. Easy to cook in the dish in microwave and cleaning is easy.Functionality:Use for pie a la mode, spaghetti, meat, potatoes, and vegetable, eggs, soups, stews, or anything at all.

Love these lightweight low profile correlle bowls. They are very durable and multi functional. We use them in our rear kitchen 5th wheel as well for every day use at home. We use them for salad, pasta & serving side dishes. The bowls are simple and pretty. They are shallow.

These plates are the perfect compromise of bowl and plate for various pasta dishes, stir fry, casseroles, and so much more. We've had them for a while now and they've been perfect. They clean easy in the dishwasher. We've had other Corelle dishes for several years and they've all held up very well. The color is a bright white as pictured. Certainly high quality and well worth the price.

Love this versatile bowls. They are great for meals, salads, chili, snacks, and soups. Light weight and pretty white, so they can be mixed and matched with your other plates easily. All my other Corelle plates have performed without chips, breaking and clean up well in the dishwasher. I think they are a good value as they are ligh, yet sturdy and I will have them around for a long time.

Fantastic size and the Corelle quality never disappoints

When I first opened the box of 30 oz plates and saw these I was a little dissapointed, thinking they'd be too small to hold much. I thought they'd be bigger. Well they hold much more than they look like they would - actually great portion control. I often eat at my recliner and I can hold this against my shirt and not worry that anything will spill on me because it has an edge - can't do that with a plate, which has no edge. Since it is wide, my husband's cooking is displayed beautifully, I can see the entire meal in front of me, unlike the small corelle (not these) 18 oz bowls I have which I hate because you can't see all your food (those bowls are deep and not wide) and they don't hold enough so you always have to go back for seconds. With this I only need to fill it up once. Also they clean so easy. I wish I had bought ONLY these - I dont even need plates or the smaller bowls, just these 30 oz "blates" as someone else called them (bowls/plate mix) would be enough. Unless you eat a lot of soup, maybe you'd need to opt for the bigger size then. But man do i love these, unreasonably so, I've been using them literally at every meal, forsaking my corelle plates and corelle 18 oz. I still use the little plates for desserts but honestly could use these too. Beautiful design, perfect simplicity, lightweight, stack well. Love, love, love. update: weeks later and i still think this is the best purchase i've made all year.

If you have Correlle plates, you know how flat they are. These are great for dinners that have a bit of liquid involved. Spaghetti, gravy and the like won't spill off the edge of the 'plate'. It works for salads also. Very nice, white plates with edges. Same quality as all Correlle dishes.
