This is a cool product. I have always hated reaching up into a lamp and fumbling for the switch. This makes it so much more convenient to switch the lamp on and off, and the dimming feature is an added bonus. As with all things dirt cheap, I wonder how long they will last but time will tell. NOTE: When I first started using them, one did not work correctly. The dimming feature didn't work, the touch pad was unreliable and it would just turn on the lamp on its own. But I installed a new extension cord that put my phone charger on the opposite side instead right beside this device and it started working normally. Apparently the phone charger was interfering with the operation of the unit. At least that's my guess. Overall, I think it's a fantastic product if it lasts a reasonable length of time. (Big IF)

I’ve gone through many different box box store brands only to be horribly disappointed. I purchased a few of these and work wonderfully. I will likely purchase more. On thing to get use to is I’m use to really fast response speed. These work great, but have a slower response time. Still a good buy

This converts lamps to a touch pad. No more fumbling for switches. Once in a great while it will turn on or off by itself, so I turn off the switch at the lamp when we leave town.

The touch pad does not work. I have done many things attempting to get it to work. I have tried one finger, two fingers, my palm, and leaving my hand in contact with the pad for a long time, it is a crapshoot as to the likelihood that it will work.

The Touch Dimmer Switch, Touch Pad Control with 3 Levels of Dimming, is easy to install and is a joy to use. You touch the pad one time and release it, the lamp will go to the first lighting level, touch it again, release it, and the lamp go to the next lighting level and so on. Your lamp can be located 5 feet away from you and you have the control pad near where you set. The is a great design. that we enjoy having. You will also.

I had 2 lamps with 3-way switches that were difficult to reach. When I saw these touch pads, I was very hopeful that a solution was at hand. I purchased two, and when I first plugged them in, I thought I was going to be disappointed because the pads appeared to be causing the lamps to flutter, flicker or fade in and out depending on the configuration of the switch on the lamp.Eventually I discovered that placing the lamp switch in the middle position, the light remained steady. By taping the pad once, I could make the light change from dim to somewhat brighter and taping it a second time actually dimmed the light very slightly, though not as dim as the first setting. And finally, tapping it a third time turned the lamp off. I figured I could live with that.Unfortunately, two weeks later one of the pads ceased to work. It still passed electricity through the plug to the lamp, but tapping the pad, had no effect whatsoever.They remaining pad, so far, still provides a good answer to my lamp problems. They have a low enough price tag, and the solution they provide is so perfect, that I’m willing to buy another with the hope that I just got hold of a bad one.

Touch control is very nearly instant. It works on an LED rope light, too. The rope isn't dimmable, so that flickers, but that isn't a failure on the part of the device. We like these!

The switch would not turn the light bulb off . I changed the light bulb from a LED to incandescent light and it worked fine.

I wish it supported more than one outlet, so you could hook up at least two lights simultaneously.One of the units did not work.
