Works as described
This safe is physically lighter in weight than my previous safe. It was very easy to mount to a solid built in cabinet. Set up was easy as was setting the new combination. The size was perfect for my needs. It was a good value for the money. The lock system seems to function well. Like most of these safes, it will keep honest people honest. For general security it’s a good buy.

Very Disappointed.
I was very disappointed in the product, but you get what you pay for. I was able to purchase this safe at a discounted price. Amazon was able to deliver it in two days. After opening the box up, I decided to test and ensure the safe was working as expected. When I attempted to open the keyed lock, with little to no effort, the lock came out. Additionally, the safe door itself does did not open very wide. Maybe 60 degrees, instead of a full 90 degrees. This is one of those situations when you definitely need to see these products in the flesh to know what you're getting yourself into.

Amazon shipped this box inside a box. Oops, the outside box was somewhat destroyed at delivery but the product box survived untouched. The safe was very well packed including solid plastic corners keeping everything intact.Instructions could be figured out and the device opened, AA batteries inserted and programmed. The manufacturer allows the combination to be 3 to 8 numbers. Wow, choices.Although massive screws were included, I chose to use my smaller screws to mount in a closet cabinet. There is adequate room to use a DeWalt drill for a pilot hole and screw tightening. A plus.It fits. It works. I like it. It meets my needs and the price is right for me.
