Hoosier Hill FarmFruit Pectin, 2LB (Pack of 1)

This is such a good product. Less expensive then sure gel and much easier and quicker then sure gel.I added a little more then 2 tbs in a batch for a firmer gel. I highly recommend this pectin if you want a great jam.

Works great for my jams. I used the Suregel package directions and weight of each suregel serving to figure out the correct amount I needed to use of the Hoosier brand pectin. This is much cheaper than Suregel boxes.

I think I found what I needed... I don't use it exactly as intended... There is no strong smell, pleasant taste, and I use it well after meals... but for what purpose, I will write in two months...

The price is great. No more little boxes! Jelled well.

You need about 6 tablespoons to get the right consistency in your jam. This is different from the Four from traditional single packages. That being said, once you know how much to use it works great.

1/3 cup of pectin, and 3/4 cup of water, cook for 1 minute. That's what worked best for me!
