The NIL-Tech sketch pad is awesome. I really like how smooth and thick the paper is. There is just enough texture that ink and pen apply really well. I will definitely continue to use this paper for the drawings that I make in the future.

I love these sketchbooks! I am starting on my 5th one and they are very substantial, will hold up to many mediums and glues. I use my books to work out my mixed media art and to journal and to keep bits of correspondence and inspirations. By the time I fill a book it's heavy and so far these have been perfect! They are big so I have plenty of scribble room and the pages are perforated in case I wanted to remove one, but not so fragile they come apart by themselves. The paper is a lovely tan color and takes colored pencil, inks and acrylic well. My only fear is they will be discontinued!

Love this spiral sketchbook. The color of the pages are very pleasing! I use chalk pencils and need the white for highlites to really pop! This is just the right texture and color. Pricing is fabulous for the quality! I appreciated the note from the supplier as well.

I love how this paper feels. I tested different brands of colored pencils, watercolor pencils with water, charcoals, sharpies and alcohol markers. The alcohol markers bled through a little, but not bad. Skin tone colors can be tricky with the markers on tan colored paper, but it’s worth playing with. I found the prismacolor, artist’s loft, and Faber-Castell pencils look much better than some of the other colored pencils I’ve used. I haven’t tried the Castle Art pencils yet, but look forward to trying them out. Definitely worth the money spent! 😁. Looking forward to trying the other sketchbooks of this brand! Especially since they’re made from recycled materials. 🥰🥰🥰

I absolutely love this sketchpad! The size (9x12) is great, the quality, durability and thickness is exceptional. I definitely recommend this toned paper sketchpad and will be purchasing again.

This is a great alternative to the Strathmore warm toned paper. The paper is brighter, warmer, and most of all heavier. That extra 27lbs really makes a difference, especially working with any wet media. The bleed through still happens but to a much lower degree. The added warmth of the tone also helps make people look good. My only niggle with the quality is the back board (back cover) should be sturdier. You'll want to use this on a flat surface or the sketchbook will bow/flex. It is my new favorite toned paper though!I just hope Niltech makes other sizes eventually. And maybe an even heavier stock.

I am recently retired and have started experimenting with pencils, pastels and watercolours. I am extremely happy with the quality and value of the product. The fact it is recycled paper and the company is family-run is of particular interest to me. Although the product is not cheap, I am very content with the purchase and the end results of my art work.

Not cheap , but the "recycled materials" as stated are all finely produced for a responsive drawing surface, with firm backing cardboard for support. Spiral binding is excellent.

So happy with this sketchbook! It is very much the equivalent of desert storm Neenah paper and takes all sorts of media very well! Also came with some nice bonus content. Would buy again and highly recommend!
