my husband and my daughter are the ones that like to bathe our dog. He is a golden retriever. He loves swimming in the lake. So he gets quite stinky. This shampoo did wonders he smelled great. my husband said he liked it because he didn’t have to use as much soap as he did as the previous soap.

I’m talking almost the whole bottle just to get a decent lather going.Awesome product, just maybe buy two if your dog’s hair could double as a survival blanket.

This shampoo works great for my cardigan corgi. However, the scent is terrible. Especially if you are sensitive to strong perfume. It smells like a cheap musk cologne and the scent stays on my dog for days. But it works great for his double waterproof coat and shedding, just wish it was unscented.

I used this years ago when I showed dogs. Needed something for my puppy.ove the smell works great on poodles.
