I purchased this for my mother to use with her muesli, with the knowledge that the spout would probably be a bit narrow for that. Turns out it was - however, it is a very well-built container which seals out air and is easy to handle on account of its vertical ridge. Being wide-mouthed, it allows her to dip a 1/4c measuring cup in there and scoop out muesli. Alternately, she can use the corner of the container to pour some out, since it has a squarish footprint. It is small enough that even when mostly full my mother can handle it well, and it fits well in the cabinet with the other cereal boxes. It is very well built, or feels that way.My only complaint - aside from the spout being too small - is that it's a -little- tricky to open due to the quality of the seal, which is first rate. You need to open it using the latch, which you can do easily so long as it is sitting down on a table - it is trickier to manage if you are holding the container in one hand and trying to open it with the other.All in all, would recommend. If you have finer dry goods, the spout would be nice to use, and otherwise you can open it and scoop out whatever you like.

I love this range and always try to buy them if I can however they're a USA brand so not always easy to get hence the prices can be on the steep side from some sellers. However they're the best quality you can get in this type of product so I'll always recommend them

I have several of these containers in various sizes (used for flour, sugar, brown sugar, cornmealI). I decided I wanted another for powdered sugar but wasn’t sure which size to buy. I almost bought the one marketed for powdered sugar but I read reviews that said a 2lb bag of powdered sugar wouldn’t fit in that size so I bought this size that I use for regular sugar and I’m glad I did. This is right size to hold a bag of powdered sugar. These containers are great! Air tight, hinged lid, easy to grab, not delicate like glass or ceramic, easy open/close, look nice, stackable. Highly recommend in all sizes, depending on your needs. If you’re looking for the right size for a 2lb bag of powdered sugar, this is the one.

I bake a lot and love the way this container keeps my ingredients fresh.

It is a very well made high quality product but….. it’s made to store sugar. When you pour sugar out of it like it is designed for a small amounts of sugar collect in the spout. So then when you go to close the pour spout the sugar stuck in the spout prevents it from snapping closed as it is supposed to. You can push it down hard, it closes, but doesn’t seal so not air tight as advertised. I have their brown sugar keeper and that works perfect.
