A great monitor, & used every day.

I was pleasently surprised by this monitor at this price point. Seems like fairly good value for a 27" gaming monitor but mine seems to have suffered from the board failure that others have mentioned which links some sort of design fault with the power supply. One day it just refused to display anything other than a black screen. No logo, no OSD... nothing. I tried to get it repaired under warranty with Acer (it's only two months old) but their customer support system isn't fit for purpose. Lots of redirecting away from the UK site when trying to book a repair and nothing back from them other than the automatic 'We know you are trying to contact us but don't reply to this email'.Eventually I just gave up and returned to Amazon making a mental not not to buy Acer again due to their poor customer support. A good monitor but you need to hope it doesn't develop a fault after the window to return to Amazon cos the Acer support is shocking.

I don’t game so am unable to comment on that.The picture quality is really excellent, so it makes a good secondary display to my 32inch LG.It works perfectly on my M1 Mac.

Got this at a discounted rate £178.00 due to damaged box. Absolutely nothing wrong with the monitor. Looks like the cables had been taken out of their packaging but couldn't see anything missing nor any damage. Cracking price for an IPS 27" QHD monitor. Stand isn't very ergonomic but not an issue for me as I have VESA mounted it. The colours are quite warm out of the box - whites appear a bit yellowy however once tinkered with and calibrated (check out rtings.com for the settings) its looking spot on and crisp white.

I have it hooked up to my MacBook Air M1 which has a 13" screen.I am pleased with the display. Not so pleased with the tinny sound but as I will be using the far superior MacBook speakers, that was never going to be an issue.There is one potential problem (which may not be attributable to the monitor) and that is that when I brush the HDMI cable accidentally, the monitor display disappears. This sometimes happens randomly without the cable being touched. I have tried a different HDMI cable with the same result so it looks like the fault may lie with the monitor. If it turns out that it is indeed the monitor at fault, I shall be requesting a replacement. I don't have the same problem when hooking the Mac up to my TV.

The monitor is great but the stand is taller and wider than I'm used to so I end up hitting is alot

It's a great monitor, high refresh rate and clear image. However mine refused to turn on after only a week of use, apparently it's an issue with the power supply.
