I bought this for my tsitzu boy, for his garden walks ,Although by size, its his paw size, but its very tight to enter and i feel if i try it will may constrict the blood flow to his feet, not to mention it needs two people one to open with two hands it and the other person to insert the paw inside. I will return it for sure

Tears easily, not worth the cost. Not easy to wear as well, you might need an extra pair of hands.

Toronto uses insane amount of salt on sidewalks in the winter and these are a must when we go outside to protect my dog's paws. They don't really protect against deep cold, but they protect against salt, ice, etc.My dog also gets hot spots on and between her paw pads sometimes so these are great when I apply medicated treatment and I don't want her to lick it off (note: don't leave on for extended periods of time because they do fit tight and can cause harm if worn for too long).If you're having trouble getting them on, there is a great video tutorial on Youtube using a cheap piece of rubber tubing = genius! My 14 year old English Bulldog has trouble with her rear end and tends to slip on our tile floors. I have tried many products to assist her with traction, and they would either slide off the foot, or they were too bulky and would cause her to trip since she can't lift her feet up properly anymore. These work very well for her needs of a light, low profile grip. I have 7 years experience as a veterinary technician and I just want to caution you that these are tight at the leg which holds them in place, so please make sure you get the correct size. I recommend using a cushion between the skin and the rubber. As you can see in my photo I am using a thick baby sock. You can simply cut up an old sock and use it the same way. Check your dogs paws for circulation every 15 to 30 minutes. If all is well check every hour or so. Do not leave these on for very long periods of time. You will also want to take them off for several hours in a 24 hour period to allow the skin to have exposure to the air to prevent skin issues. The sock helps absorb moisture as well. These are a great product for our needs, just please error on the side of caution and get the correct size.
