Works great. Attractive.

It definitely freshens up my bedroom, where I sleep with my dogs. I tried it in a larger living/dining/kitchen space and I think that was too large. Remember to vacuum the filter often.

Nice sized floor standing unit. We use it as a white noise generator in our bedroom at night. Our locations is desert and it is very quiet at night, except when it isn’t…. Coyotes with a kill, owls encountering mice, toads calling out for a date, and the odd car which needs its muffler replaced. Anyhow, this sits in the corner of the bedroom and generates a constant hum that drowns out the background noise very well. We actually run it at the second speed as the lowest speed is too quiet to be effective.It has an ultraviolet light feature but we don’t use it because the feature turns on a bright blue light on the exterior of the front panel as well, which is distractingly bright.Yes, it filters the air of dust, as evident when we periodically clean the filters although my allergies aren’t particularly improved by having it on.

Used and using during the 2020 LNU Cal Fires. We had bought it months prior and had been running it pretty much non stop during the summer months as a white noise and general pollen/dust filter which had made and makes a huge difference in our bedroom freshness and drowning out early morning mockingbirds that can be a bit annoying for my wife. When the fires hit last week this small unit was put in smoke clean up duty for the entire house (which it obviously is not designed for in a 2500 sq ft house) but it has been doing a great job as the sole Hepa filter as we lent our higher capacity unit to an elderly family member closer to the burn area and she needed it worse than us.Can be a bit loud at medium and high settings but it also moves quite a bit of air on both sides of the unit which is what you want in any filter. We have been in AQI smoke/particulate levels ranging from 150-500 ppm <2.5 microns over this past weeks (so smoky and thick particulate matter) with periods of more normal 50-60's AQI and without the Germ Guardian the smoke levels within our house would have certainly permeated throughout the entire home otherwise. For a space say under 500-700 square feet (say a good sized family room or a very big bedroom) It works admirably and really all you might need. Surely beats nothing.

Thsi is a nice quiet air filter that is thin, not too tall, and doesn't take up much space in the room. I have had it on Moderate (there are 3 settings) constantly in my home and it has lasted 6 months before the "change filter" light came on. I have a small dog who sheds a lot and I got feedback from family that my place was smelling like dog after a few months of having her. I got this filter and placed it in our living room where the dog spends the most time. Since having it, nobody has made any more commentd about the dog smell. I love it and would recommend it to all!
