Fantastic book. Well made and the paper is wonderful for my fine nib fountain pen.

Product was delivered incomplete. There should have been two books and I only received one.

I like the look and feel of the hardcover notebook and the numbered lined pages. The writing paper is thick, but it’s not smooth or had some property to it that makes pens bleed, and I don’t mean through the page, I mean laterally. For gel pens or pens over 0.5 mm, your writing is going to look a little imprecise because of how the paper responds to some pens.This set came with two notebooks. Both had very slight damage to the outside, which didn’t bother me too much, but one of them wasn’t made well or had been damaged inside too. The first 20 pages of the notebook had a crease right in the middle of the page, it had been bent up before coming my way.The binding seems well made. I don’t think pages will be coming loose. There is only one margin rather than 2, which I like because you can write a lot in one line.The color and feel of the notebook is very nice. It looks professional, but the quality of the paper itself could be a little better.

Notebook is well constructed and lays flat when it is opened.Pages are lightly lined and numbered. I use a Waterman fine nib with Private Reserve Ink. Writing is slightly visible on the other side of the paper. The ink does not easily smudge or blot since it absorbs quickly into the paper. This is jounal #18 and I am using more ink now than with the previous 17 Foray notebooks. I assume that this is because the paper is not as glossy. After 21 pages, my writing is a little more bold due to increased ink consumption so I am still getting used to that. Under a magnifier, my writing shows some minor bleeding even though I use a fine nib.

This product is of excellent quality. These are nearly impossible to find.
