Works great, long battery life & durable!
I got this for my puppy when I brought him home at 5 weeks old. The first 30 days after adoption is a big adjustment for fur babies. This definitely helps. I used it in his crate, wrapped in a blankie. We obviously can't be with our babies 24/7 & crate training is hard enough as is. This helped settle, calm & comfort him when I couldn't. The battery life is great & it's very durable.

Bump Bump...
Love this heart-beat device. I used to foster orphan kittens for my local shelter and a few rescues, kittens from days old until they can be speutered and adopted. One of the challenges for the wee ones is giving them a sense of mom to help them sleep and nurse and thrive. This little heartbeat is just the trick. I have 4, used for years, raising dozens of kittens. I would put this just under the fleece bedding with a stuffy toy on top to provide the kittens with a simulation of mom being nearby. Without fail, i would find the kittens, or kitten (if solo) curled up sleeping on top of beside the heartbeat device, or curled up into the fluffy crook of the stuffy on top of the heartbeat. Helps them sleep, builds confidence, they nurse better, and grow healthier. The battery last a very long time, several days on the "always on" setting. Just don't place it on top of a heat-source, as you don't want the battery to overheat. Since I don't foster anymore, I occasionally buy a stash of these to donate for new foster parents. I'm pretty sure, though have no personal experience, that these would be similarly impactful for other baby mammals.

Great replaceable heart for puppy
This heart fits inside a plush puppy dog. It keeps her calm while we are away and she is in her crate. I have two of the hearts that takes a rechargeable battery. Always have one on hand when we have to leave SudieQ in her crate while we are away. Can’t leave her out alone in the house. She is a chewer.

Quits working after a few weeks
Heartbeat stopped working after a little over a month of use. Can no longer return as it's past the return window. I have replaced with new batteries on a couple of occasions. Still just works for a few seconds then stops.

Changing battery is a hassle
Ok, a minor hassle for most, however you need an eyeglasses repair kit to change the battery. My eyesight and dexterity make this really difficult.

New puppy dream
We rescued a puppy about three hours from our home. When we went to pick her up, she was extremely tiny hadn’t been feeding well and the rest of the litter was either already adopted out or one of them. I believe had been deceased because it just had failure to thrive. We brought everything in our arsenal as we knew this puppy was weak, and was not going to travel well. It was frothing at the mouth And vomiting, which I was sure was due to motion sickness. I’ve had this little heartbeat in my arsenal as I had used it for previous rescues. We stuck it inside of a toy that was made for empty water bottles. It had a little Velcro in it we popped it in turned it on and little puppy fell right to sleep on it the whole ride home no more motion, sickness no more vomiting. We use this often on as we travel with her to get her used to riding in a car and also at night time when putting her to sleep. This thing works like a gem. Highly recommend.
