These countersinks produce a smooth chamfer in wood using a hand drill. Typical countersinks with multiple cutting edges usually produce an irregular chamfer surface.

They work; but I don’t think that they are sharp enough. I needed to drill some countersink holes in an aluminum miter bars, and these don’t work at all.

Exactly as expected. New and sharp. Should last me s bet long time.

I'm not a professional craftsman but for someone intermediate, like me, I would highly recommend these. They are sturdy and well made.

Worked great to repair an old bench

These countersink drill bits only drill the part of the hole that the head of the screw goes into.See in my picture above. The short stubby one is the Amodo countersink drill bit, and the long one is a countersink drill bit I already owned. See how the longer bit has three different thicknesses? When you are assembling something with a countersunk hole, the thin part goes in the layer you are screwing to down below, the medium part goes through the piece you are attaching, and the big part creates the space for the screw head to not stick out.A countersink bit like the one I already had, does all three layers in one go. The Amodo countersink bit only does the top layer. You could combine the Amodo with other, conventional drill bits to get a variety of different hole sizes and depths. So if you want to do different thicknesses, or different size holes for the other two, the Amodo style bit is advantageous.However, note that the Amodo countersink bit, does not work well to make deeper countersunk holes. So if, for example, you want to drive the screw head in deep enough to glue a wood plug over the top and hide it, this is not the countersink bit you want. You can make a tidy hole deep enough to drive the screw head down flush, but no farther.The question comes down to, what are you trying to do? The Amodo bits are a nice addition to my woodworking tools, but other countersink bits will still be better for some tasks.

I haven't used them yet. But they look really good.
