Q: Is the fabric "satiny" or "cottony?"

It is light and flowing like the fabric of a scarf. I love my 2 and ordering another. I feel so feminine and pretty around the house*

I wouldn't say that it will fit every size, but unless you are very petite, or larger than 3x/extraordinarily tall, this will fit on you. It has a wide neck and arms, and it's cut so it doesn't matter too much whether it goes to your ankle or just under your knee, or just covers your wrist or stops halfway to your elbow. It's basically a bag with a little detailing at the V in the neck, but no real shape. I was just at a party where we all bought these to wear, and they fit everyone equally shapelessly (which is the point of this sort of caftan).

Might be a bit tight for 4x. I’m a 1-2x and it fits just right. 3x should be ok. No draw string or cinch. I have several kaftans and this is my favorite.

Great Feel but color runs

I literally love everything about this kaftan. The fabric, the burgundy color, the fit. But I couldn’t figure out why my white nail polish was pink by the end of the day and then realized… the color bleeds of the fabric. Which means it’s not machine washable. I have to hand wash it separately until the color stops running completely. But I love it enough to deal with that.
