After reading reviews, I was a little worried about constipation, diarrhea, and then there was the post that claimed this product was unsafe and pulled from the market under a different name!!The FDA did issue a Warning Letter to the manufacturer (Bio Health Solutions) because they were making drug-like claims (e.g., "treats kidney failure") and marketing RenAvast as safe and effective without FDA approval as a drug.ghSince RenAvast wasn’t tested under FDA drug approval standards, the FDA required it to be pulled if the claims continued. NO SAFETY RECALL WAS ISSUED. The FDA did not say it was unsafe, just improperly marketed. The product is now AminAvast and in the supplement category, PHEW!I decided to start with ONE capsule a day and let her adjust before moving to the recommended 2 capsules a day to avoid any chance of constipation/diarrhea. It’s only been 4 days but her appetite is returning and that was our biggest hurdle. Absolutely no GI upset. Fortunately I’m able to pill her and don’t need to sprinkle it on her food.It’s too soon to tell if her labs will improve but I have a good feeling about this product based on the studies. I’ll update in 6 months.

This product is great. I have a 19 year old Snowshoe cat with kidney issues. The vet gave Jin a year to live. That was 19 months ago. We put one capsule (pulled apart and the powder mixed in food).in the morning and evening. In the evening we also ad a liquid vitamin B-12. He is active, eats well, not sick but drinks a lot of water. We attribute his health to Aminavast. We also give him a water IV every other day…probably 100cc….then a Fancy Feast treat. He has no issue with IV..about 5 minutes.

Helped keep my old cat's kidney values down so she was able to live a nice long life to almost 20 years. Now, we are using for our other cat to keep her values down! Price is basically the going rate

This stuff works! When my buddy Jack had bloodwork before recommended dental surgery, the vet called to tell me that they could not do the procedure and that he was “in the throws of kidney failure”. We were to give Jack subq fluids three x a week, special food, and retest in a month. Well, I decided to do some research, and came up with a regime of AminAvast, salmon oil, a liquid vitamin and Kidney Support Gold. He also gets Best4Life Cat Dental Care tablets and Doggy Naturals Trukitin…..Jack will not eat wet food, except for an occasional Churu, and the Trukitin helps block phosphorus. Amazon has all of these supplements. He also gets a spritz of Zumalka’s homeopathic kidney support.After a month, his bloodwork improved and we were asked to keep doing whatever we were doing. Two more blood tests later, and things are still improving. I’ve cut back the subq fluids to 2x a week and halved the vitamin because he is eating so well. Jack is purring, playing, snuggling and just being Happy Jack! He even caught a mouse the other day! I mix everything in a small beaker (except the homeopathic stuff) and use a plastic syringe. He easily takes it by mouth twice a day.Do your research, give it some time, love your kitty. Don’t give up….THIS STUFf IS AMAZING 😉

Excelente producto! Hace 2 años le diagnosticaron insuficiencia renal a mi gatita siamés de 17 años, le mandaron unas pastillas que no podía pagar, comencé la investigación y llegué a esta , desde entonces ha tomado una cápsula en la mañana y otra en la noche junto con su comida Royal canin para gato renal, la ha ayudado muchísimo!!La insuficiente renal no es una enfermedad que se cura pero la buena alimentación y el medicamento adecuado hace que avance más lento , lo recomiendo 100%

Order came on time. This product has helped my cat and I am glad that I decided to try it.

I was told by my vet to make my 16 year old cat as comfortable as possible until it was time. He was losing weight, not eating. I added Fortiflo & Kidney Gold to his diet, helped some, not much. Switched to all wet food, ‘feed him whatever he will eat’. I add a tablespoon of water or bone broth for cats to it for the extra fluid. When I added AminAvast to his food 29 days ago, within a week I was seeing small changes. As of today he is eating at almost normal levels for a cat his age, & gaining some of that weight back. He seems comfortable, perkier and looks more like his pre-kidney disease self. I know where this will end eventually, but there is no doubt in my mind that this product has bought my precious boy extra time. I’m amazed at the change in such a short amount of time. Not paid to say this, just grateful to those who have helped me to find this product & hope it helps your cat as much as it seems to be helping mine.
