Q: How is the gate adjustable?

I needed a 4' x 5' tall gate and I couldn't find one for less than $180. I found this adjustable one for half that but I was apprehensive to buy it at first. Now I am glad I did buy it. After cutting it to size, I installed it (every quick to do) and it is doing the job well. It is sturdy and a well made gate.

Q: Can I attach this to wooden fence posts?

I bought some round metal posts and some hardware for a wooden gate. The pins on for the metal post had 5/8" pin and hardware for the wooden gate want a 1/2 pin or 7/16 pin size. I haven't found a way to make it work.

Just the gate itself. You'll have to provide posts, or attach it (like I'm doing) to an existing wood fence using an additionally purchased hinge that attaches both to the chain link gate, as well as the wood fence. Hope that helps!

Q: Is gate 6 or 5 foot high? and is it 72" wide?

Mine is 4' high. They make it in different heights. Their site isn't well organized. Keep scrolling through it until you find the height you need. Maximum width in 72". You cut it to the width you want- that's the big advantage. The quality of the materials in these gates is superior. The tubing has a coating on it. If my old gate had that it wouldn't have rusted out and needing to be replaced. You will have to drill and cut the metal tubing. (Only 2 holes and 2 cuts.) The instructions are terrible. Illustrations are too small for all but very young eyes. Even with a magnifying glass they are unclear. But it is really simple and you can probably figure it out if you go slowly and make sure that you aren't cutting the tubes too short. The instructions need to be rewritten so that someone who haven't done it before can understand what to do.
