Superb clamps very sturdy and Amazon is the cheapest place to purchase them by a considerable amount.

UK option for Jay Bates style pipe clamp bench vise
I bought a pair of these to make a pipe clamp vise for my Paulk style workbench. Coupled with 500mm pipe (purchased separately, I got mine pre threaded cheaply on eBay ) they are now a plenty strong enough high capacity fixture. I lifted my design directly from Jay Bates. I used poplar for my jaws. Very adjustable and indeed removeable due to the spring mechanism.

Good value for money and should last for many years
These came from America via amazon and were very well priced. These are not refined pipe clamps in any way but they work well enough and being cast iron should last for many years. As they are very good vfm I would be happy to buy again and almost certainly will once my workshop is ready.

This product is sold as being 50inch pipe clamp but it doesn't come with any pipe at all, you just get 2 clamping parts much to my disappointment, it should be sold as pipe clamp parts and not 50 inch pipe clamps

Great once you find the pipes.
Ordering was the easy part, followed by visiting a dozen electrical and plumbing supplies to try and get the metal rods....Eventually found online (Pipe Dream Fittings) so these have been great since then.

Comprei 3 desses rapazes para fazer projetos de marchetaria (juntar duas tabuas com cola para formar uma prancha) e fiquei impressionado com a força que esses caras conseguem aguentar, inclusive tem que cuidar porque se não amassa a madeira.Você pode fixa-los em hastes de metalon fazendo uma rosca de um lado ou em hastes de madeira, indico o metalon, pois não entorta e dura muito tempo.Para clientes exigentesSuper Indico

Good product
I use these for various projects on an ongoing basis. There are some that are slightly cheaper, but not as reliable. When I'm doing a glue up I need clamps that work right. These are what I use.

Las mejores prensas, aunque costosas
Las almohadillas de hule son una ventaja respecto a otras marcas, ya que protegen la pieza de posibles daños. La manufactura no tiene defectos, funcionan muy bien. La desventaja es que son muy costosas, en comparación a otras marcas, yo solo las he comprado cuando hay ofertas como el Black Friday.
