Q: Once you charge the battery with the USB if not in use how long does it charge stay

If it's not attached to the pump, the charge should hold indefinitely. I'm not sure how to put a timeline on it, but it functions like any other battery in the way that if it isn't discharging it holds the charge as well as the quality of the cells being used. Over time charge will diminish slightly, and slightly more if left attached to the pump, but this would be very slight. Think of it like the Duracell batteries you see in the store that say "5 years guaranteed" what that means is that the battery is rated to hold it's charge for five years. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any documentation on the cells used in this, but it's the same principle and the charge should hold for quite some time if it's not being discharged. (Also, to preserve the batteries life, if it's not going to be used for say six months or longer, it should be discharged to about 30% to protect the longevity of the cells when a charge is needed).
