Small but sturdy.

The STANLEY FATMAX 2M Keychain Tape Measure is fantastic! It's super handy to always have a tape measure on me, and the fact that it’s in centimeters is a huge plus. Compact, reliable, and perfect for quick measurements.

Are there better, better built tapes out there? Definitely! However, this is nice and small and a more useful 2m than the usual 1m little measures. It appears accurate and has worked well. It lives in my pocket as I'm always making weird and wonderful things for school and home and there is never a tape when I need one. Now there is, as it's always in my pocket!

The tape is a little flimsy but what can you expect for a keyring sized tape measure? For what it is, it's perfect. Having it on my keyring is great as you never know when you might need it and I find myself using it a lot more than I expected. Coupled with my keyring level, I can measure and check the level of things in a pinch, whenever and wherever.The black plastic feels rubberised which makes it easier to grip and makes it feel more premium. I was only able to compare it's accuracy with my chunky fatmax auto-lock tape measure but it was pretty much 100% accurate to the naked eye. The images don't do it justice as the camera angle can skew the alignment.Ignore reviews that say that the movement back and forth of the hook at the end of the tape means the measure won't be accurate. The movement of the hook is intended and allows the tape to remain accurate weather the hook is being pushed against a surface or hooked around something and pulled. It moves to cancel out the hook thickness.

Nice compact size. Feels sturdy & good quality. Would be perfect if it had inches as well as millimetres but happy anyway

And I didn't have a thing for tape measures!But this is kind of cute and good to have on hand, easy to take places without needing much space and there are so many things which need measuring.2m covers a lot of items within a home or craft studio.Whilst a larger one is needed at times, I have to say this little one I use so much more. I picked it up by chance in a store and have decided to give some as gifts.Good quality.
