Writing reviews on products like this is very difficult. Do you rate it compared to full size compressors? That wouldn't be fair because, as Scotty on the Enterprise put it, "I can't change the laws of physics". You simply can't get volumetric parity in a hand-held unit compared to a large air compressor. So, do you instead rate it compared small hand pumps? That's a closer match, actually, and from this perspective the little compressor is a star. While it is much slower than a full size compressor, it is a speed demon compared to a manual hand or bicycle tire pump. The switches and display are relatively intuitive and the internal logic that pumps up to your set pressure and then stops is brilliant. My only gripe, as others have noted, is that the screw-on connection is a little finicky. Plus it seems particularly difficult to get the threads started. On the plus-side, though, very little air is lost when unscrewing the hose from the valve which is more than can be said for clamp type connections. I have only used this for bicycle and motorcycle tire filling and one other niche application. That is the inflation of thermal expansion tanks frequently found in connection with water heaters and for water hammer suppression. For these purposes the pump is unsurpassed in its handiness. Being able to set the pressure in one pound increments and have the pump stop when it reaches the set level makes this job a joy, even in tight spaces. At the reasonable price of this pump, I would have bought one simply for this one use. I suspect that it isn't a great solution for high load applications such as filling pickup and truck tires. It would take all day and overly stress the unit. But for its intended purpose, it is difficult to envision any needed improvements. Highly recommended.

I am very, very impressed with this. I have bought similar portable inflators in the past and have been disappointed when they were not strong enough to inflate a vehicle tire. I bought this inflator in early October 2024, after receiving it I did use it to check my own vehicle tires which two tires were down several PSI. I was impressed that this inflator was able to bring my tires up to the recommended pressure. However, I wasn't sure that this inflator could handle filling a tire that was flat. Today, a family member had a flat and I pulled out the Fantik inflator, which I had not used in almost 6 months. I was surprised that this inflator was still fully charged after not being used for so long. The tire pressure on that tire I used it on was 3 PSI and it needed to be 32 PSI. The Fantik did take about 15 to 20 minutes to bring that tire to 32 PSI, and I was surprised I was able to do that without taking off the tire. The other 3 tires were down between 3 to 13 PSI. I was able to fill all the tires before the charge ran out. I'm very very impressed, it does work.

Bought to keep in my truck. Only used it once so far, my tire was at 24psi and needed to be at 35psi. It took a while to get there but handled the job with plenty of battery to spare.

Perfect for use on my fat-tire ebike. It's quite amazing, actually. Unlike what some folks stated, when you screw the hose onto the schrader valve on your bike, the pump displays the current pressure. I love this thing!
