The size is perfect for my backpack. It works well on my neck and I'm sure other areas also.

cracks and sheds sharp plastic shards.
Avoid use near sensitive parts that would be hurt by cracked plastic shards. the caps are hard plastic I would never use anyway and started shedding plastic shards immediately after turning the thing on, and the base developed cracks around the motor within 30 seconds before ending the experiment. never made it to test lapping heatsinks with them,, unlike a different one I ordered over a decade ago. I ordered a different one that isn't brittle clear plastic, maybe that will work better.
