The notebook has good-quality paper. The color selection is perfect and aesthetic. There is no pen holder, but it's honestly okay; it does have a thick spiral that you can hook a pen on. Overall, I think this notebook is perfect. I'm personally using it for work, but will be buying another one for my business notes.

love the paper thickness and how nice the covers feel, but the spiral binding did get bent during shipping and it looks like the side of the front cover got dented either before or during shipping. i’ve been using this for a couple of weeks and really love it, just wish it had been packaged a little better so it didn’t get damaged before i received it. didn’t feel like returning it because i needed it the day i received it, and the damage was only a little bothersome. when/if i reorder another, i hope it doesn’t come bent/dented, since i love the notebook/journal overall!

Paper is a mid thickness, slightly thicker then your typical note book paper you buy in packaging. EXTREMELY sturdy and beautiful front and back. It is a soft crème color, I actually got this product for a matching set with a bag, 2 pencil bags, and a few other note taking items. Lines are wide ruled overall in love with this product.
