Dandilions Bye Bye! Works Amazing!
This Fiskars weed puller works amazing! So easy to use and the "eject" option really helps to cleanly and easily remove the weed from the tool once it's pulled from the ground. It successfully pulls out dandilions with the full root and using this tool is somewhat theraputic. :) This saves from having pain in my back and knees while weeding. The only time it struggles is when the weed is alongside a hard surface (e.g. asphalt driveway or cement sidewalk, etc). That doesn't allow the tool to properly grab the weed and tends to just get the surface leaves and struggles to get the root of the weed.Other than that, still a 5 star product. I've been using it for a few weeks now with no quality issues.

Works well on dandelions to get the long tap root
This thing works really well for weed removal that includes the root (my experience is with dandelions). Many of my attempts included all of the long root. I did opt for this version of this product since it included the ejections feature. If you are considering this because of that feature, I have a few thoughts.I would buy this again based on the ejection feature the weeder includes that is not included on other options. However, I did end up still bending over and removing a lot of the dirt that was dug up with the weed. The plug of weed and dirt that this digs up is not big, but it still does make a hole. I would remove the weed from the plug and then shove any dirt and/or grass plug back into the hole. The ejection feature is still handy. I would dig up 5 or so weeds and eject them and then work on them as a set, removing the dirt and filling the holes for those 5. It made the process quicker with the ejection feature. I'm glad I paid a little bit more. I also think that if I'm working in an area of the yard with fewer weeds, I won't take the time to remove the dirt which makes the ejection feature also a back protection feature. The dandelions are more dense in the area I'm working on now and close to a patio. I also threw some grass seed in the area I was working on after I was done.I do think that this will not go as well once summer is underway and our clayish dirt starts to get harder. But I do see myself using this weeder a lot until that time comes.

its fun!
works very well. make sure the eject mechanism is pulled back allowing the blades to spread. center it over the dandelion and push it in the ground as far as it will go. tilt it back using the foot pedal as a fulcrum (step on the foot pedal if needed). the blades close tightly around the dandelion as it is tilted and pulls it out of the ground. slide the eject mechanism handle down and the dandelion is easily ejected from the blades. if it is properly centered over the dandelion, you will see the big main root in the middle along with smaller roots. sometimes it is necessary to do it a second time for larger dandelions, or if it wasn't properly centered. it is very satisfying, and actually enjoyable. i was actually sad i ran out of dandelions to pluck. filled a 5 gallon bucket full of them

I use it all the time. Not good on bind weed. Have dandelion weed to pull? Buy it. It helps.
I have a lawn that is more weeds than grass. I am stubborn stupid in my neighbors opinions because I don’t want to use weed killers and fertilizers. We have a dead lake nearby that kills all people and animals that drink or get that water in their systems. I refuse to pretend the excessive use of fertilizers and chemicals is not the direct cause. Lots of farmers farming in area… I am trying to go at it in a way I am not part of that with my hard work and vinegar, salt, dish soap weed killer and pulling out what I can. Stubborn yes. The vining weeds I spray. I pull dandelions. This is good for dandelion. Only good because it doesn’t clamp down hard enough to get the root out in one go a lot of the time. And I’ve only used it for about a month but it’s dulling a bit. It says you can take it in for free sharpening but I haven’t looked up where yet. It is a wonder how much it helps shorten time pulling weeks but at the same time when it takes 4-5 try’s to get the root out you make a huge hole in the lawn in the process. I was asked if we had mice. lol. No, it’s just me!! Not sure if it can be made more effective. I will have blades sharpened. It is definitely worth the money for the use and amount of time it saves me vs digging it out with a screwdriver (don’t know the actual tools name.) I would recommend this product. I am not certain how durable it will turn out to be. I have a lot of weeds. It will be tested thoroughly. As far as comfort goes, it’s not uncomfortable to use, haven’t had blisters or anything. So dulled already but it’s used heavily.
