Easy setup. Incredible speed.

Not for Google!!
I'm sure there's a way to get this thing to work with Google fiber, but for the hours required to get it to work, it's not worth it. At all. It's incredibly complicated to setup unless you pay extra for some software fixes.

Make sure you have the right PoE power source
I finally upgraded an AC Pro to one of these. I got a higher quality PoE injector to make sure 2.5gbps could pass through. However it would constantly disconnect. I went back to my previous adapter and got the same problem and an error. If you get this, toggle the PoE compatibility to reduce power. I got the PoE++ adapter from Unifi and now I can turn compatibility off and max power on all bands and it's very stable without error. Very easy to mount and has a fan to keep it cool.

A bit warm ...
Have had this set up and working for approximately 2-months. Discovered that mounting this to the ceiling can cause issue with the WiFi dropping out. Experimenting with mounting options and found the device does get quite warm/hot. Added about 4-inches of space between the ceiling and the device to allow more air flow and found the device has been stable. Also note that the operating temperature specification shows a reduction from 140 to 122 deg F, 60 to 50 deg C.This might suggest Ubiquit/Unifi is aware of possible temperature issues.Working to add a slow fan to create air flow on the top of the U7 Pro Max to further aid in cooling in hopes of preventing heat issue.No complaints on the performance, it provides fast WiFi data rates. but ... a 2nd gen with a reduction in heat might have been worth a wait.

We could never get these to work even with the help of a professional. We were able to get a refund thank goodness.

Issue with Wifi I would buy the U6 ENT version.
Please read internet posts about issue with the wifi on these models.
