So i left this review for long enough for the product to fail if it was going too.I think I've had it over two years now.. and its been HAMMERED.I've taken it hiking up mountains, you name it.. its had it .. and everything, including the brilliant remote still works..I've seen reviews saying it stopped connecting after a few goes.. well mine hasn't, never had that problem once..It does get a little stiff at times to get off.. but that's just cause i have it on so tight...Overall .. Would i recommend this product fora Nikon D850 - 100% ...

First thing is to win ensure your turn it on , the button on the right hand side bottom ..everything appears to work and quality is excellent however if you think that you will get 9fps with this you won’t .The battery it holds only lengthens the life of the camera it won’t increase the FPSIf you are happy with this it’s good if not don’t get disappointed and get the real thing . Same applies

This Meike battery grip has worked flawlessly from the moment I attached it to my camera. It has all of the functions and features that are found on the Nikon MB D-18 original.The buttons and assorted controls are very positive in operation, the AF-ON button being the exception, feeling ever so slightly mushy when pressed. Fit and finish is great if not quite up to Nikon standards. This is only evident when the Meike and the Nikon grips are compared side by side. Both Nikon and 3rd party batteries work without issue, with no detectable battery drain when the D850 is switched off.The Kirk L bracket meant for the Nikon MB D-18 Grip fits securely and accurately to this grip, with all compartments being easily accessible. I've not tried the supplied remote for any length of time, so I cannot comment on the menu system or how easy it is to operate, although build quality does not seem to be lacking.This grip represents great value as it combines confidence inspiring quality with the benefit of a huge potential cost saving. Recommended.

Purchased with Nikon BL-5 battery cover and Durapro EN-EL18 3200 mAh battery and DTSE charger from Amazon. Wireless remote works well had to turn off back button focus for it to focus camera wirelessly, remember turn grip to on position as well or it won't work. Great for taking selfies with face detection turned on. Only issue I had was 1 of the 3 genuine Nikon EN-EL15a batteries I have wasn't recognised it was picked up fine when in the Nikon D850 itself. Tested with Neewer wireless radio 16 channel trigger set and worked perfectly. Build quality robust rubber grip identical to Nikon grip.

Longevity and reliability unknown.

My first venture into camera grips. I didn’t wish to pay £300 for a Nikon grip, I have to say this Meikle grip works great. The grip itself fits onto the camera snuggly, the buttons feel fine and comfortable to use. I would recommend this as a great value purchase.

Good price with remote does the job the only difference between this And the Nikon is its a bit plasticity
