Works as advertised but chunky
Works great and extremely fast for transferring data. The cable is quite flexible but feels a little chunkier than your charger cables for example.Good value for money Vs competitor brands and cable matters usually provide the official certificates for all there cables.Went with black and it's your bog standard silicon looking cable and feels relatively durable.

Lovely white cable
This 2-metre cable works exactly as needed. It connects seamlessly, provides the full refresh rate and resolution required for my monitor, and charges my laptop at the same time without any issues. Solid build and performance. No complaints.

Good, sturdy cable
Seems good quality, very sturdy. Charges my phone much faster than my old usb-c cable and data transfer from pc to phone is much quicker too. For the price, I thinks its a really good deal.

The build quality feels premium and durable, with every small detail thoughtfully handled. Even the packaging was sleek and well-designed—clearly a product made with care. Performs flawlessly and looks great doing it. Highly recommended.

Thunderbolt replacement
This is being used to replace a certified thunderbolt 3 cable that was a little too short. Replacement Thunderbolt cables have OTT pricing, so seeing that this (relatively cheap) USB cable claimed compatibility with Thunderbolt 3 and 4, I decided to give it a go.Happy to confirm that it it working fine with my Caldigit TS3. Cable is fully powering laptop and feeding 2 x 4k monitors at 60hz, a camera, external storage, and a keyboard without complaints.Note that this cable is thicker than average due to the power rating.

Seem OK. USB/TB compliance marking would be useful.
Ordered 2x cables, length 0.3m, to connect laptop, via hub, to external high capacity SSDs (2x Samsung T7, 2x Sandisk Extreme Pro). Received yesterday 21-Mar-2025.I briefly tested them today with the T7 SSDs, copying about 100gb of files from one SSD to another. I did not measure the speed, but it seemed at least as much, perhaps 30% faster, than the unbranded usb-c cables that I previously used. I will do some detailed testing, including charging, as soon as I get the time to do so.According to the product description, these cables comply with the USB4.0 standard, and are 'compatible with Thunderbolt 4 cable standards'.However I think that it is worth noting that these cables bear only the Cable Matters logo - unfortunately there are no markings for product ID [on packaging: 201304-WHT-0.3m] or USB or Thunderbolt compliance. In comparison, the cable received with my (Thunderbolt 5) hub is clearly marked as being TB5 compliant.Provisionally awarding 4 stars, with 1 deducted for absence of marking, subject to detailed testing.

Reliable with excellent data transfer speeds
The cable is strong and appears to be well-made. Data transfers are as expected. I've used other Cable Matters products and they've always been reliable.

Broken after 2 months
Used daily with the same devices (laptop, phone). After less than 2 months it now has a kink in it at the connector end and doesn't charge if bent at any angle, or sometimes when straight. Poor quality - expected better from cablematters and at this price. I can't return for refund since it's past the 30 days so I'm out £10. Probably won't buy cablematters again with quality like this. Buy a braided cable instead. All of my braided cables work perfectly after years of use.
