For the past two years, I’ve struggled with extremely dry eyes—but only at night while I sleep. It got so bad that I used to wake up 2–3 times every night just to reapply eye drops. 😩 I tried all kinds of ointments and drops, but nothing really gave me lasting relief.I recently found out that I sleep with my eyes slightly open (who knew?!), which explains so much. So now I use both an eye ointment and a sleep mask—and that combo has made a world of difference.For the past couple of months, I’d been using the Systane night ointment, and it actually worked really well. But then I saw that Obtase (my all-time favorite eye drop brand!) released their own overnight ointment—and I had to try it.Let me just say: it’s amazing. It works even better than the Systane one! The only minor complaint is that when the tube is brand new, you have to be super careful—barely squeeze it or it’ll keep oozing out. 😂 But other than that, I’ve been using it for almost a month now, and the relief has been incredible. I finally sleep through the night without waking up from dry, burning eyes. Total game-changer!

I have used many topical eye lubricants over the years. I have become increasingly convinced that an ointment at night is an important part of helping my symptoms throughout the day. This product is less blurry, and makes my eyelids greasy in the morning. With other ointments, I still had some overnight bacterial response with stickiness or gooey junk on my lashes. I don’t get that with this product. I’ve been using it for about a month and I’m having the least amount of dry eye trouble that I’ve had in a few years. Oh, by the way, I’m an optometrist.

Good for dry eyes , for when sleeping , would recommend to others

good stuff to use just before bed. Your eyes will wake up refreshed in the morning.

This is easy to use and does not irritate your eyes.

This is very helpful for my dry eyes overnight!

For me, this ointment works to keep my eyelids closed during the night when a c-pap machine sometimes leaks air upward toward the eyes. This, my dry eye problem has much improved.

Great product except whoever package the box put heavy items on top of this and 1 other product.
