I selected this knife after shopping around for a knife capable of handling a lot of different food prep duties. When I received it I was impressed by how sturdy and durable it is, it came exactly as described in the ad, and also some of the videos I had watched. I first used it to separate chicken wings into drumettes and flats for hot wings. It easily separated the wings at the joints much more reliably and safely than the knives and cleavers I had used prior. That curve in the blade allows for a lot of control, and it allowed me to slice through those chicken wings with ease. With the cleaver I had been using before, it was a bit of a guess as to where to make the cut because you had to come down with some force to chop through the joint, but with the curved blade of this knife, I could use the blade edge to feel for the joint between the bones in a wing, then simply rock the blade forward to perform the slice that separated that wing into two pieces. This made the job of preparing the chicken for hot wings simpler and overall safer. I also have used it for preparing vegetables and it excelled at that task too. I highly recommend having one of these, they are priced right and built well. The build quality, fit and finish has been on point, well above the price range of a knife like this.

This feels like more than just a knife, it's heavy duty and can be used more like a kitchen tool. For thick meats to small veggies. It's sharp, heavy, thick blade makes it feel like you're a real chef in the kitchen! I was considering gifting this knife but I love it so much I'm keeping it. I've been using it to cut up everything in the kitchen! It makes my cooking experience more fun!

I wasnt expecting it to have as much weight as it does but it feels nice in the hand. Its made for cutting meat but it cuts through herbs with ease too. Nice size blade and handle to ensure you have a good grip when cutting.

The media could not be loaded. This knife is so sharp and a bit weighted (since it’s made out of steel) which helps it cut easily! I used it on ribs and it sliced through so effortlessly! I barely had to push, it was super nice. The handle is smooth and comfortable to use. Not a bad price either for the quality.
