the imprint clay arrived hard as a rock, completely useless, no matter how hard I tried to push in the paw there was no imprint in the clay. Very upset, plan was to use this before we had to put our dog to sleep. Do NOT buy.

This is not clay, and does not need to be molded like the clay options. It is sealed and the print needs to be done within a few minutes of exposure. It does loose some "depth" during drying, so make sure you get a deep enough print. The display box is nice and allows for 2 pictures and a couple of different display options, but the part for the print itself also has a built in easle so it can be displayed by itself.

My dog is now a senior dog, and I wanted a paw 🐾 keepsake. My dog hates having his feet touched, so I was hoping the kit would work well with constant pressure for the time recommended in the instructions; unfortunately, the kit didn't work the first time. I had to complete a second press with my dog, and it was a chore because he thought we were finished. I was able to get a great print the second time, and found the stamp lettering kit very helpful. The kit dried quickly and 2 tries was one too many, but not enough to not recommend the kit, I just want others to be aware that it takes more pressure and time than is recommended in the instructions.

The media could not be loaded. UPDATE: not quite a year later, my babby boy has passed, but the print still looks good. There is a slight fading of the print but not a lot. I would definitely try to get good pressure on the pups foot to make sure it doesn't fade completely. I'm still very pleased though and so thankful for this keep sake to remember my sweet.boy. (the last picture is from today (4/2024) the rest are from 6/2023 )REVIEW FROM BEFORE:So I just received this today, but so far I'm very please. My dog was diagnosed with an inoperable tumor, so we decided to get his paw print right away to have something to remember him by. The quality of the product is very high for the price I paid (~$15). I shaved his paw fur and cleaned his paw to make sure I would get a good print. It did not take as much pressure as I thought it might to get a good print. My husband distracted him with a special treat so the time was positive for him too. The top has plastic for the photo cover, so if there is something I would change that would be it. Everything else, especially for the price, is absolutely what I would want as long as the paw print stays for the next 20 years.

Shipped fast with Prime. The box itself is very pretty, just like the photos. Directions state to push your paw print in hard, I didn't realize how 'hard' I really needed to push. I pushed hard but apparently not hard enough to create as great a print as I would have liked. Definitely apply a ridiculous amount of pressure if you want a good print. The clay portion has a plastic sheet over it to protect the print from dust. The picture slots are an odd size, 3x4. It was incredibly difficult to slip the pictures in. I ended up ripping the corner of the box as I tried to put the photo in, so that's a little disappointing. As I said earlier, it is a beautiful box but it's imperfect. One of the stitches came loose but it still looks nice and does not affect the purpose of the box besides aesthetics. The inside slot for the picture does not have any plastic or glass cover to protect your photo either so be mindful of that. Overall, decent but pain in the butt purchase. Next time I would opt for the bigger size and the one that has the ribbon inside which holds the photo to make photo input easier. I bought this for my 90lb German Shepherd paw print and it fit just fine.

Purchased to create a paw print of our sweet senior dog Lacey and there was zero clay in the box. We had no time that day to replace it so we were unable to do a clay paw print before letting her go. The box is just fine quality nothing special. If you’re going to purchase make sure you check inside the box that the clay is in there. So disappointed and don’t want this to happen to anyone else.
