ZWILLING Cookware Universal Lid, One Size, Silver

Big enough for my large skillet, it has a nice hande and is sturdy.

Ordered this to fit a 12” non-stick skillet that measured about 12-1/2” across. This lid fits perfectly even though the measurements indicate that it might not.Seems well built, would recommend for covering skillets that came without a lid.

Bought this lid to replace the rusting lids in my 10-year old, made in China, Zwilling Spirit set (unlike most people, my pans are in great shape for their age, but all the rims of the lids have rust where the seal meets the metal). Aside from the smallest saucepan (1qt?) the lid fits all the other pans in the set. I was also pleasantly surprised to see the lid accommodates the 4 qt Spirit braiser (made in Vietnam) recently purchased. It will not fit the Zwilling 4.5 qt CFX Perfect Pan though, because both the handle and helper handle rise a little too high for the lid to settle on the rim of the pan. Overall, I'm happy with the quality/heft of construction, and that it fits most of my cookware. I do have to jiggle the lid a little bit, to seat it on the pans correctly, or else I'll get steam condensation dripping outside the pan(s). But it does work as intended.

I didn't expect such a quality product. I thought it would be flimsy but it is a nice heavy lid. I've already used it a number of times and think it's a great purchase. Very happy.

This lid is truly versatile and useful. I've been using foil and baking pans to cover my pans without lids for years, so this is so wonderful to use. It is heavy enough for a good seal and fits all the pans that I've been wishing lids for. I have not tried it with small pots or pans, just those between 8 and 12 inches, but have been very satisfied with those experiments. Someone mentioned that it is flat, not domed like many lids that come fitted with your pots and pans. This is true, and I was concerned about that, but so far, this has not been a fatal design flaw.

Delivered on most expectations. Well made, innovative design. In truth, I'd like a smaller version. This is great for the upper end and clumsy on the lower. Great for full-size skillets and large stock pots but not so much for smaller saute pans.
