I add this to my pancakes to add some texture and extra nutritional value. I have also added it to muffins and fruit filling mixes when making turnovers.

I like that these are slightly ground up which makes them easier to digest and makes them quicker to absorb whatever liquid you're adding them into.I haven't been super adventurous with these, mostly mixing them with milk and a little bit of vanilla extract as a sugar-free dessert type treat. It does benefit from sitting a little before eating when I make it in this manner, and it does benefit as well from lots of stirring.I'll be watching for sale as I might purchase more in the future

Because this is not a grain, it’s not a flour in the sense that you can bake with this as your “flour.” However, you can definitely bake with this as an added healthy ingredient, but you’ll still need a real flour to get any sort of dough. I’m sure most people know that.This is a ground mix of flax, chia and sesame seeds. Note that flax seeds, ground, are an egg substitute and will turn very egg-like when mixed with water, so you’ll want to be careful of that effect. If you’re baking vegan with flax seed, you’ll want to know there is already some in here. I’ll happily use this in muffins, smoothies, and as an oatmeal topper/add-on for the seedy benefit.My only annoyance is the decision to use light brown/beige print on clear plastic with a light brown substance inside… this makes it very difficult to read the label.

It only has three ingredients – flax, chia and sesame seeds. I frequently use all three, but it’s great to have them all together in one blend. I wouldn’t really call it a flour per se, as you can see the individual grains in it; they’re broken down but still identifiable. I actually prefer this to it being milled in a fine flour powder. It’s important with the flax especially that it be broken down somewhat, otherwise it can just pass right through your system undigested. This Superseed blend smells and tastes fresh and nutty. It’s produced in Canada and Argentina, and my jar has an expiration date of December 2026, over two and a half years out. It says to store it in a cool, dark place. It’s perfect for adding to oatmeal, smoothies, soups, salads, breads and muffins. They also have a delicious recipe on the listing for energy bites – 1 cup of this blend, ½ c of nut butter, ¼ c of honey, vanilla (or almond) extract and kosher salt to taste; mix well, form into balls and refrigerate. Yum. Really glad I ordered this.
