Great, but beware of some parts that can fail over time.
I had a stroke in July 2015, and lost the use of my left hand. One of my occupational therapists recommended this product, and so I bought it in November 2015, and it has been absolutely indispensable for operating in the kitchen. Without this vise there is no way I could open a jar of anything. I have had a couple of issues with the vise, though (I have not used the potato peeler or grater, so I have no comment on those components):1) On the back part of the vice, one of the little plastic pegs snapped off, apparently I had put too much pressure on it in the time I'd used it, and it eventually just gave way. But it left a hole, and I found a screw- a wood screw I believe with the coarse threads, there was about the right size, so I screwed that in and it works just fine in place of the original plastic peg.2) Just yesterday I realize that the vice would no longer stay tight, you push the handle down and it would just come back up. I realized it was because the compression spring was no longer working- it had just worn out. So I took the handle off with the two little tiny screws so I could take the spring off. I then took the spring to the local Ace Hardware and bought two springs that looked like the right size. Well they weren't; they were two small. So this time I took the front part of the vice back to the Ace Hardware and found a spring that was big enough around to slip over the metal rod and long enough to be able to compress down. I found one that works and I've just installed it and now it works as good as new again.Wish list: It can handle items 4-1/4" wide, but I wish there was an option to purchase one with a deeper vise, to hold larger things in the vice.

GREAT product!!!! A must have
this station works great for my young grandchildren & my one handed daughter. They are able to help me make things in the kitchen as well as do it by themselves.I feel safer letting them work in the kitchen A wonderful product. Great for me in my old age to I can always use a little help. And am not always the most likely to ask for it.

This is a great tool for someone who has experienced a stroke & has lost mobility of an arm. It allows a person to gain some form of independence back. Sometimes it's the little things. Would be great if it came with a rubber grip for jar lids & a pedestal for slicing the ends if veggies.

Really cool concept, but cheaply made
I bought this for a six year old family member that needed help in the kitchen. After she cut up ONE carrot with a kitchen knife, the plastic cutting board is damaged from each slice of the knife. It’s a great idea for a product but I will be making my own version of this cutting board from wood to avoid getting plastic in my food. Unfortunately not worth the price or the two month wait for international shipping - due to the cutting board being made of an inappropriate cheap plastic :(

It’s OK
The cutting board works pretty good. It is not made of Best material. Flimsy and not real sturdy.

It's not sturdy enough for my needs.
The vise part is main reason for purchase. Had stroke, so only one hand working. The vise is not strong enough in some cases.

Workstation
Had one of these from the occupational therapy team years ago so I knew it was the right equipment for me. Very useful for people with a disability that gives them only one useful hand. Very expensive though.

OK DOES THE JOB
Product is ok to use and versatile however I personally thin k it is overpriced but needs of a disabled person must.
