I am a 5' 115lb women and the XL fits great for layering. It is a thin layer, but when layering it keeps you dry. Comfortable enough for a hike too.

Great product, have them in adult size too. Fit true to size, plenty long. Definitely waterproof

I ordered these pants for my upcoming trip to Northern Europe, can't comment on performance, Marmot is a good brand, so I'm hoping it will serve me will in wet weather. Sizing wise, I'm a petite woman, 5'1, ~100lbs. I ordered two sizes to try. M was way too small. L is okay - fits me well over skinny jeans or leggings, length is perfect.

I thought I was getting a great deal, these pants retail for $55, and I paid $25. But they arrived with two holes down near the hem on one leg. I can patch the holes, but I’m disappointed to have received a damaged product that should have been in new condition.Hopefully they will perform as needed, they fit my 5’, 106 lb child pretty well (size XL). There isn’t a ton of space in the hips, but he was able to move with ease in them and they will hopefully last until next summer.

Well, I tried these out more thoroughly than I would have expected... I ordered these for my son to grow into, and ended up borrowing them for myself! I am a petite female - 5'5", 110 pounds wearing a large, in case you're planning to try them too. But enough about grown up use, let me give you a practical review.These are very thin, which is actually my favorite part. We mostly use waterproof pants for mild winters in Oregon. I like that these can just slide on top of whatever pants my son is wearing. They take up hardly any space at all when packing. And they wash great.Yesterday, I wore them outside in pouring rain for two hours. When I came back in, even my waterproof Eddie Bauer coat had absorbed some water. But these pants were dry within 20 minutes and every rain drop just beaded on the surface. If you're looking for waterproof, these are certainly that.

I am a small woman, and I usually have a hard time finding pants that fit. Rain pants in particular tend to be huge, so I ordered the M and L of these to try for a hiking trip in Germany. At 5'4" and 100lbs, the L was about as big like I'd expect an adult S to be, but the M was just big enough to wear over my shorts. We ended up hiking in the rain a couple days, so I pulled these out. The other woman hiking with us said, "Those look like normal pants!" because they fit so nicely. They worked well, and I was the only one dry at the end of those couple of days. The fact that they weren't falling off or snagging on every bush we passed was great, and as a bonus, I don't look like I'm wearing my husband's pants in all the pictures lol!

I’m 5’0” tall and 105lbs and the large fits me perfectly even with leggings on underneath. Skinny jeans would be ok too. Love that the pockets are zippered and so are the bottom half of the pants legs. There’s even extra buttons on the bottom of the pant legs so that you can taper them more if you want. They’re really light/thin too so you don’t feel weighed down. Haven’t tried them out in the rain yet but I’m excited to!***UPDATE: Took these on a camping trip this summer and glad I did, it rained. It kept me dry hiking through wet grass and splashes. BUT, I sat on a wet bench thinking that my behind wouldn't get wet. I was wrong. After about 15minutes, my backside was definitely damp. These aren't truly waterproof, I'd say they're more water-resistant. Still, I'm pretty happy with the product.

These rain pants are high quality and very rain proof. Has 2 zippered pockets on the sides. XL size Fits my 13 year old son perfectly (he's 5'6) with a little extra room to grow. XL length is 40" from top of waist to bottom of pant leg, inseam length is 30", waist width has stretchy elastic and goes from 28" to 32" (with a cinch tie).

I have been looking for a good pair of waterproof pants for a long time for the heavy rainy days in Vancouver. I was so glad that I finally found this one. I am 5-foot tall and 106 lbs. I ordered the L size and it was perfect. The fabric makes a little rubbing sounds when I walk...but no big deal. Have been wearing it a few times already and it sure kept me dry. Love it!!!

Thinner than expected but they're great lightweight waterproof pants for short woman! I'm 5'1" 107lbs went for a large and it was to fitted. I had to return it and got an XL and it was perfect. I had room for leggings, jeans or sweatpants to wear underneath without feeling constricted. I haven't worn them out yet but it looks like it'll do the job.
