So far our little motor is working great and it's quiet, which is nice since it's right off the living room. And when the water is low enough, it does sound a little louder...BUT...I find that a plus because it's a warning to me to add more water.

I got a replacement pump for my cat's water dish it has lasted so much longer than the original pump it is amazing I absolutely love this product filter in my cat's water is super important
