I bought these for my fog lights in conjunction with wanting to switch my low beams and high beams over to the bright white LED’s. These worked fine, but the headlights weren’t as bright as they were advertised to be. So, I removed the headlight’s and returned them to Amazon and put the halogens back in. I also put the halogen fog lights back in so that all the lights match. Unfortunately, when removing these lights, I broke a tab, and can’t return them. I am OK with that though. These were relatively inexpensive and I should be able to sell them at a local flea market. The tab that broke is just for removing the bulb and can easily be substituted by using a small screwdriver. I will let the buyer know that.I was pleased with these lights, though. Had the headlights worked out, I would’ve had no complaints about these bulbs.

These LEDs replace the stock bulbs in my 2014 Dodge Journey. The units themselves are easy to install but be sure the vehicle plug doesn't bend the pins of the LED unit when you connect it -- this appears to be a fault of my car, and not the LED. I was able to fix it.The lights themselves are now FAR brighter than the factory equipment. I'm waiting for dark to see for sure, but these will be very useful in nighttime country driving.

... because they do not focus at the same spot as a "real" H1 bulb. Since the light pattern emanating from the luminary is so diffuse due to being offset from the focal point of the housing I can't really see using this in a vehicle. The mounting flange should be in the groove noted in the image, but it is not.One bulb failed after less than an hour of operation. It was due to a bad solder joint between the (-) lead and the diecast metal body, which sinks a lot of heat (which it is supposed to), so it is hard to get a good wetted joint.-------------------I was initially disappointed that the H3 only has 6 LED chips per side, whereas the H1 has 18. However, the H3 (3570 LEDs) gets much brighter with lower voltage. Both consume the same power at 12 volts, but installed, the H3 is brighter than the H1.The H3 required a bit of dremelling of the notch to get it to fit the socket, and since the terminal on the power wire is not insulated, I felt obliged to wrap it in electrical tape to prevent it from shorting on the housing. The 360 degree illumination feature presumably refers to the fact that the H3 body freely rotates in the flange. I'm not sure what effect this will have on heat dissipation going forward.

Starting point on my use with this product, replacement for other brand LED's that have short life (burnout). Now on with this, I finally got around to installing them replacing the failed (one side) of set. Easy install, the LED's are used as factory fog light replacement on my vehicle. After sunset I could definitely see better performance from them (not my first choice amber/yellow is for snow, fog ect) good flood of light. The light almost outperforms factory standard headlights alone. Quite often i get flashed "high-beams" when on. The beam pattern coverage is good for watching out for deer running into roadway as long as your not out driving the light. Now to see how long they last?? As of now I do recommend them, I will try to update later if there is a problem.

Do not expect this to blow away a decent halogen, it doesn’t. Yes, this product is brighter than the factory BMW halogen low beams I replaced, however, it’s not a difference big enough to blow the factory ones out of the water. Where this does shine is in three aspects; price, efficiency, and color temperature. For $6 a bulb, you can’t go wrong. It’s about half what you would pay for a halogen. The bulb is significantly more efficient both in heat output and power draw than a halogen. This is quite nice for my car given it’s early 90’s electrical. The color temperature is the last and final point. The 6000k option was perfect for what I was trying to achieve, which was a mid 2000’s xenon look. It gives an icey blue light while not looking too blue or aftermarket. Referenced in the picture is my BMW E36 with the bulbs installed as low beams.

I wanted to replace my fog lights lamp with yellow LED and I wanted to try this out. They are easy to install I like the size because there's not a lot of room in the fog lights so these are perfect because they are like OEM size. I'm not very thrill about the brightness because my piaa halogen light bulbs are better than this. It is supposed to be better than halogen since they are LED right?

These are good enough to be seen but not enough to see Better at night. Those who claim they’re better than halogen are obviously 22-25k km a year drivers. We who drive 100k plus km a year spend a lot of time driving at night to know that good lighting is imperative. These bulbs are novelty quality.Price reflects what your getting
