🎶 Unlock your OP-Z’s full sonic universe with ZM-1 — connect, sync, and create like never before!
The teenage engineering ZM-1 oplab module is a compact expansion accessory that connects the OP-Z synthesizer to MIDI gear and analog modular synths via 1 gate and 3 CV outputs. It syncs seamlessly with Pocket Operators and installs easily without tools, including a MIDI adapter cable and user guide for quick setup.

Adding onto greatness
The Op-lab allowed me to connect my OP-Z to my modular synth and other external keyboards, and gives me plentiful options for creating music. The earlier quality issues TE seemed to have with this unit, are no longer an issue.

Needs to be pulled from stores immediately
There are two versions of this module. What amazon is selling is the old version that is fundamentally flawed. Why Teenage Engineering hasn't done the right thing and done a full recall on these old modules KNOWING full well that they are defective, is beyond me.Bottom line, they won't work unless you do something like what I did, which is wedge a piece of paper between the clip and the body of the OP-z to hold it in place. It's an easy fix and it works GREAT after that, but having to rig up a $150 module for my $700 synth, both of which are brand new, is garbage. Shameful.
