Wool socks for an Arkansas Delta summer?? Yes! These socks are surprisingly soft and comfortable. Fit is snug but no binding. Wool socks offer a cooler wearing experience. These socks are well made, no holes or errant strings. Wash up well...don't put them in the clothes dryer. Looking forward to long term usage.

After 5 weeks traveling in Europe rotating 3 pairs of these socks, they were easy to hand wash and dried quickly. After walking all day, they absorbed sweat very well and never smelled. I would highly recommend these.

Nice running socks. Bought them for my first Ragnar. They absorb moisture nicely and are very comfortable.

I wanted to love these merino wool socks. Perfect ankle height, beautiful white. But I think the fabric blend was not a good one for me. I do believe it is mainly wool, because it passes the water droplet wool test. But the blend with nylon results in a roughish texture that does not get better with wearing. Also, the sock slipped around in my shoe making walking uncomfortable. In full disclosure, I have always had a problem with tolerating nylon fabrics. I thought the low percentage in this blend would not cause a problem, but that was not the case. So the socks do present as a good quality, they are just not soft. They will probably wear well because of the nylon though. Did not return because I wore one of the pairs for a day to try them. I will pass them along in my next clothing donation.
