Very happy with the look and feel of these glasses. But, they are definitely not 17oz. I used two different measuring cups and both show the glasses to be 16oz to the very tippy top of the rim. Frustrated because I was really looking for a glass that could actually hold close to 16oz.Then I checked to see if it could be because European ounce is smaller than US ounce and it turns out the Imperial Ounce is slightly less (.96) , but that still doesn't make up for the difference I'm measuring.I really like the look and feel (not too heavy or thick) of the glasses, so going to keep.

I’ve had these glasses sitting in my cart for years and I finally bought them in time for New Year’s Eve. I love the feel of these, one survived someone elbowing it off a table and it bounced off the floor and didn’t break, they do great in the dishwasher and are great for drinking anything out of. I am so glad I finally bought these and I’m excited to use them for years to come!Also other reviews mentioned stickers that were hard to take off but mine had no stickers or anything on the glass so I just hand washed them and they were ready to go!

These Bormioli Rocco Bodega Collection glasses are not alone in their light and elegant design. There are cheaper look-a-likes out there. But the old adage holds true, you get what you pay for. I have a cheap no-name set who's numbers had slowly succumed to dishwasher scratches, and breaks from drops and sometimes minor dings.While I cannot yet comment on these Bormioli glass's durability, it's one of the reasons I chose them. They are tempered glass and popular in restaurants because they resisted scratches and minor bumps and dings. They are also resistant to thermal shock and should be able to handle hot drinks as well as cold.They also actually hold more liquid than my taller glasses, their lower center of gravity makes them harder to knock over as well.I had relatives over this past weekend and one actually remarked on how much they liked the glasses and where I'd gotten them. I just sent them another pack as a surprise.

Surprisely versital from cocktail to water glass

These are so practical! They hold more than you think at first. Some people had broken ones delivered. I ordered the tall and short ones and they all arrived intact. I've knocked them into my sink and each other and they are SO much sturdier than many of the other dozens of thicker glasses I've had to repeatedly replace over the years.

I love these glasses! They are a nice size, the wide top makes them easy to clean, and they stack so they take up less space.
