A nightmare —avoid this blender.
I never have complained about a product before—but this blender is a nightmare. It leaks and splatters. You have to turn the top on so tight, it’s nearly impossible to remove. But even then—the contents leak into the blade and motor area. When I realized how bad it was, it was too late to return to Amazon. I wrote to the company a few times and got no satisfaction. Throwing it in trash and ordering from a different company.

Not bad, but . . .
First use of blender was to make cashew cream. It’s not bad. Did the job okay, but was a bit frustrating. Controls are preset, and limited. The machinery overheated fast, but some of this might have been my not making a runny cream sauce. It is better than the Vitamix that I bought in 2017 from Costco, which is annoying to wash, and not any better, maybe worse at creaming cashews and such. And, this new blender is cute, much cuter sitting on my counter than the Vitamix. The rating rests somewhere between 3-4, but given this is only my first use, I’ll round up.

Very good compact blender
I like the simplicity of the design and function. It's great for smoothies. You can store it with the provided lid, or travel with it, as the lid has a spout for drinking. I had a Beast before this and I liked it, but the motor burned out after 2 years, and it did not get heavy use. I decided to look for an alternative and I am happy with this purchase.

lasts 1 year
worked well while it lasted, have had it for about a year, not heavy use... about 5-10 uses a month and then died, won't turn on or anything.

Was great until it broke after 6 mos
I loved this blender and used it frequently for smoothies and salad dressings. We have had a Vitamix for over 10 years with no problems. I ordered this personal blender for its convenience but felt it would work similar to the Vitamix…and it did! But after 6 months the blade base broke and the manufacturer could not send a replacement piece and it was outside the return window. After my stellar experience e with Vitamix, I was disappointed to not be able to have this personal blender fixed. But until then…it was great.

Singing the praises of this little baby!
I waited a few months after purchasing my Zwilling to write a review, mostly because it was too good—there had to be a catch! So I waited, but its greatness sustained and the time for praise has arrived. It is a little powerhouse; that is to say, I would not want to be a piece of fruit, nut or anything in its jaws. I pile everything in, the lights flash to show it is awake and eager, I turn the switch on, the motor begins to hum, and I WALK AWAY to let it perform its magic. When it's done, you have the smoothest of smoothies. I rinse the blade and jar immediately, and that's all the cleaning it needs—no crevices or rubber strips, and it's clean as a whistle. There is a very slight mechanical odor when the motor starts up. I was concerned at first, but that disappears as it blends, so not an issue. I'd never heard of a Zwilling before, but if people knew how great it was, I think it would become The One for smoothies. Whoever came up with such a great gadget, thank you!
