Excellent
Very strong netting. Bought for a kitten who likes to run around like a loose rocket without looking where he's going. Seriously second the other review that suggests nailing the bottom for extra security as it does flap at the bottom otherwise and a small cat/kitten/puppy, maybe even a kid could get underneath if they intentionally lifted it, but having done that it does seem very secure. Good value, safe little kitty, very happy 👍

Does the job
If your wanting something subtle of your gorgeous hallway banisters, this is not it but it is perfect in terms of safety and absolutely does the job. We hadn’t realised how big the gaps between are banisters were but as soon as we did I was straight on Amazon. This is a well priced product for what it is.

Got this as a new puppy and the top bannister has a sheer drop on stairs side. Got to see him safe

Works fine
Product is what it is and works fine, but why anyone would have brown edging on a product that is designed to be white is beyond me. Surely people are buying white to try and keep this discreet. For me, it's a huge design flaw and ruins what would be a good product.

Bought to kitten proof my stairs
After one on my new kittens jumped down from the first floor of our house through the banister spindles, I quickly bought this to kitten proof our stairs up to the loft which are a much higher drop.I did have to nail the netting into the wood at the bottom to stop the kittens getting underneath it. However, you wouldn't need to do that if you are just child proofing. The netting seems very strong and the cable ties that come with it are strong and good at holding it to the spindles.

Essential for cheeky toddlers
I bought this to stop my toddler from dropping objects down the stairs to the floor below. It has proven effective and easy to install with the provided zip ties.
